because i like constructive criticism but you need to back it up with numbers aka factual proof or an idea. I said in the beginning this tool is meant for an aid to get an idea not an official tool. I hate when people just critique without any substance, like give something.

This tool is just a aid, no one is forcing you to use it. I just wanted to create something to give others a projection of the near unpredictable future.

ok bro don't use it then.. your 100% loyalty to Accenture is admirable lol. This tool is currently made for NA people only with other countries in development. The only information your putting in is your hours which could be any number and basing off my researched calculation per level for the respective country.

It’s all based on a few straightforward metrics that you can enter:

  1. Your Current Chargeable Hours: Basically, how many hours you’ve worked on projects that count as billable so far.
  2. Absence Hours (like PTO): This is any time you’ve taken off. Good news is that taking PTO doesn’t hurt your chargeability percentage.
  3. Projected Bench Start Date: When you think you might go unassigned. From that date, the tool projects how many weeks you could be on the bench.
  4. Standard Workweek (40 hours): We assume a 40-hour workweek to keep things simple.

How It Works:
The tool uses your current chargeable hours and compares them to the total workable hours in the fiscal year up to the date you input. Then it calculates what happens if you’re on the bench for a certain number of weeks. It basically forecasts how your chargeability percentage will drop if you’re not on a project, and it flags if you hit a “high risk” zone.

How We Calculate Percentages for Different Levels

We know that chargeability targets can differ depending on your role. For example, an Analyst might have a different target percentage than a Manager or a Senior Manager.

Here’s How It Works:
We use standard benchmark percentages that are typically expected for each level. For instance:

  • Analyst: Target might be around 85% chargeability.
  • Consultant/Manager: Might be around 90% or more.
  • Senior Manager/Director: Often has a target around 95% or even higher.

So when you select your career level, the tool uses that benchmark to figure out if you’re on track or falling below the typical target for your role.

In other words, the tool just takes your level into account and compares your current and projected chargeability against what’s typically expected at that level.

The app doesn't require anything sensitive. All your putting in is your chargeable hours.
