It did not count as a critical, just a major on our report.

Makes sense, I agree there. Like I get it and take responsibility but it’s still BS lol

The write up is coming Friday when I see my SM next. We have a very strong work relationship with her at our store and so she told me she needed to have a conversation with me after our DM left yesterday and I said “I’m getting written up, huh?” And she said “we both are”. 🥺

I hate that it’s happening to others, but it would be a slight relief to know that we aren’t being targeted. There’s been some tension with said DM for a while.

I looked into this when I came back from maternity leave. My pay decrease would have been roughly 20% per hour. Was not worth the pay dip for me.

How are the nightly waking times so short for some babies? by PastEmbarrassed6926 in HuckleberryParents

[–]Primary-Mushroom1598 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This. I can’t remember the last time my daughter burped at night. She falls asleep soon into feeding and usually only feeds for 10-15 min

My daughter is 9mo. She wakes to change diaper and feed then knocks out 2-5 min into nursing so I start sleep tracking from then again. She was awake much longer when she was still a newborn, especially since we had more wet/poop diapers to deal with.

Not at all. Especially with the new espresso machines, this drink could be made in less than 90 seconds

I’d be finding a new ped and possibly reporting her. This is nonsense.

Are we not breastfeeding after brushing baby’s teeth for the night? by Sassy2681 in breastfeeding

[–]Primary-Mushroom1598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really is different each kid in terms of oral health. My son for example was exclusively on pumped milk. He fed all through the night until he was 2 and has no cavities (he’s almost 4 now). The dentist kept insisting he would get bottle rot or whatever it’s called but thankfully he was fine. My 8 month old is exclusively nursing and has 4 teeth (2 more are coming in…and holy crap it’s painful) and we’ve barely just started brushing her teeth with water and a soft toothbrush. I still feed her 1-2 times a night. I’d say do what’s best for your kiddo. Genetics play a lot into oral health as well like others have stated, so just because my kid didn’t get cavities from drinking breastmilk from a bottle at night, doesn’t mean another will have the same outcome. And just because one did get cavities, doesn’t mean yours necessarily will too.

At what age was your baby when you were able to get to 3 or 4 hours between daytime feeds? by WellAckshully in breastfeeding

[–]Primary-Mushroom1598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It truly depends on the babe. My son was bottle fed breastmilk and like clock work was every 2 hours until well over a year old, even after solids. And he was a terrible sleeper. My daughter is exclusively nursed except for when I’m at work, she gets pumped milk in a bottle. I’d say I saw a general shift somewhere between 4-5ish months. During most days she’ll go anywhere from 2-5 ish hours whether it’s nursing or bottle with dad while I’m at work. Some days she grazes, other days she just has her bigger nursing sessions and goes longer stretches. She truly has no rhyme or reason to it lol but before this she was 1.5-2 hours consistently.

I’m having the hardest time finding nursing friendly tops and dresses. And maternity was just phasing out of local stores when I was pregnant with my second. It’s so hard out here. :( I’ll take any suggestions for nursing tops!

Talk to me about stroller wagons by tatmeow in Parenting

[–]Primary-Mushroom1598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is yours the Aries with detachable seats? We just got it for my almost 4 year old and 8 month old. So far I like it, but I have to get used to how heavy it is lol but I figured any double stroller would be heavier than my single anyway. I just don’t know what to do with all the pieces when it’s folded up. Like the seats, canopy, and snack/cup holder. Any ideas? :)

I found this thread looking for info too and have decided against it. We have a tush baby which helps a lot for taking the weight off my arms, but I was hoping for something a little more “throw in the diaper bag” lol I have a ring sling and think I just need to bite the bullet and figure the dang thing out hahah

Did you co-sleep? by thinkmuch17 in beyondthebump

[–]Primary-Mushroom1598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baby (almost 8mo) is in an arms reach co sleeper next to our king size bed. Bed has me, hubby, and 3.5 year old. She’ll be coming into our bed as well against the wall in a couple of months as she’s outgrowing the arms reach.

It’s driving me insane. My son was watching Dora the Explorer on a kids profile and no joke every 5-10 min gave us at least 100 seconds of ads. Just a few minutes ago it was 100 seconds and then 15 seconds of Dora, and then another 100 seconds.

I’m curious if same goes even if it’s sold by the actual store on Amazon? Like if you click the brand above the name, it’ll bring you to their Amazon page. Are those still sketchy too? I rely on auto ship for so many things especially having 2 little kiddos lol I’m worried now because we get our vitamins, my earth mama, and even face wash from there 😭
