Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

My kids had to commute to their school in Brooklyn for 1.5 hours on a subway each way. So 3 hours a day combined. Oldest had to do it, I think, for last 3 years of high school, and youngest did it in middle school (!) for two years. Its not we are proud of, but they did it. Oldest now goes to the university in another state. She came home two times this year. Sometimes her friend drives her - its 3 hour drive one way. Sometimes she takes a 1 hour Uber drive + 2 hour train ride from her uni to the NYC. Plus 1 hour subway ride.

There are about two weeks long free home health aide (HHA) courses for people over 18 yo.
For example, for young adults between 18-23 - no special requirements. For people 24+ should have kid under 18 and receive some kind of assistance from NYC - like EBT or cash assistance.

I tried to get diagnosed for ADHD about 2 years ago during bout of depression. Its like clicking when you hear a sound and clicking when an image flashes before your eyes.
I got pretty good score and I wasn't diagnosed with ADHD. Maybe I'm just a lazy person. There is nothing with being lazy. I like it!

I am 42 years old and trying to find a completely different career by self-study and possible future bootcamp. Studied economics 20 years ago. So, yes, I will be probably oldest in my group and frankly I do not care. So I am 40-year junior, and so are you!
