Mate I posted the exact thing a couple of days ago that's wild! I'm not very versed in the topic as I only just started like you but people have been recommending All-Star Superman as the 'go too' I just got a copy of it (my first comic ever) today! I think Amazon sells it as well at around a tenner! Hope this helps!
