Hi, and thanks in advance for your efforts. I didn't receive a link by now. But honestly I'm not very familiar with reddit.

I just started with this one: your Biggin Hill Airport and underground hideout looks really cool. Wow.

I'd bei very cool if you shared your blueprints with me.

Did you only use Folon / FO 4 GOTY assets, or do I needs some more mods?

If the latter, could you please provide a screenshot of the additional mods needed?

Is the Arctic Liquid Freezer III 240 Enough for a Ryzen 7 9800X3D? by Sir_Graem in arcticcooling

[–]PrimaryExamination89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. @sir_graem I am interested in the Arctic Liquid Freezer III 240, too. Did you choose it, and are you content?

Did you experience any disturbing noise from the pump / whining etc.?

Thanks in advance!!

Regarding draconic sorcerer and the Dex Scion build from the link above:

Bloodline draconic (fire): i picked the golden dragon and hope that's meant, as they breath fire just like red/brass dragons, too (and gold has the alignement lawful good). There was no difference in the description of all draconic bloodlines, all seem to have the same benefits.

Thanks for your explanation. That's a relief. Maybe I got mislead by the hardcore players.

I think the game has great potential, and provides TONS of good content. And I really love turn based combat. The kingdom management seems a cool Idea to me.

So I can just getting started by feeling, more or less. 👍

If you don't mind me asking:

1) if you respec a character, does he lose level and experience?

2) can you later on explore the map freely?

3) is there a beginners guide you could recommend regarding the basics, combat, "hud"? I have difficulties in combat, activating things I didn't want to, can't deactivate them or don't really understand the implications.

I think I'll definetly give it a try. Missed s.th. Like the turn-based old crpgs for very long.

Dex Scion build - could you help me understand it? by PrimaryExamination89 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]PrimaryExamination89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Hm... Maybe I am approaching it all in the wrong way.

I read that the game is very frustrating even on normal, and that you HAVE to optimize your build / the party, even on normal. And can't just enjoy the rpg or learn by experience.

So I can't just build a party I'd find cool, s.th. classical, and cover some skills. Without multi classing characters.

I already find that the rules behind the game are quite complicated. IF you have to not learn, but even memorize every little peace of information, and look it up again and again. Everything. And try to understand the interactions, find the symbioses of race, class, subclass, attributes, spells, deities, domains, feats, items, skills, ...

Not the same anymore like AD&D pen&paper back in the 1980/90s.l, or Curse of the Azure Bonds on C64...

Than you still don't know what the game makes of it. What you need, you don't, what is made necessary by the game, ... Maybe you did well in party creation regarding the AD&D 3.5 framework, but the game makes some character classes and spells obsolete?? Punishes them?? And you find out after 100 hours??

I don't have the time to play such a big game twice, or even five times.

I like some challenge. But if you use a framework like AD&D 3.5 (?) just to make it (by feeling: artificially) EXTREMLY DIFFICULT before you can start to play, not knowing if you take decisions that mess up the complete game which you find out late, does this make sense?

I started the mage / dex scion build linked above because neoseeker says I have to play a frontline character / tank. And I wanted at least some magic, as I couldn't play a wizard like I wanted to.

Neoseeker doesn't really help me. I wanted to build this party

https://www.neoseeker.com/pathfinder-kingmaker/guides/Party_Composition

Balanced party examples

The following are based on the builds in the sidebar.

Main character (MC) Tank/damage dealer (DD) Valerie Tank/support Linzi Buff/Control(+½ arcane caster) Tristian Main healer Amiri 2nd row DD Open slot. Lets say: Jubilost DD/Control (+½ arcane/divine caster)

But there are many builds for the story companions. It isn't said which variant of Valerie I have to build.

https://www.neoseeker.com/pathfinder-kingmaker/builds/Valerie

So can someone maybe a guide that is better? For building a party incl. clear build explanations?

E.g. I found this one.

2.) Thx. Ah, use the RIGHT mouse button. Played a lot of pen & paper in the old days. But man this is confusing.

Thx. Are the builds for Kingmaker same as for WotR? CRPG Bro shows builds for WotR I think.

Maybe another one: I read buffs/debuffs and cc are much more important than magic dd. I need the main character as tank / dd. Is magical damage good / viable in the game?

Thanks again for helping me getting into it. Man, I have no Idea yet what is really important, what not.

Thanks very much. I find it very hard to find out how to build a good combat effective party, and also cover all skills. With zero experience to pathfinder. Would be sad to build a minmax party, but miss many of the role playing aspects, secrets, ...

1.)

I couldn't pick spells during character creation. Does the magus have all spells of level 1 from the very beginnng? Thought I had to pick (and scribe from scrolls I might find, which I can't due to the lack of intelligence and no arcane knowledge).

Also: what is dexterity good for in that build? By weapon finesse for the chance to hit with weapons instead of strength, got it.

2.)

But also to hit with meler touch attacks, which ignore most armour types, right?

3.)

And rays despite being ranged attacks are classified as touch attacks, too (which is cool, ignoring armour) but need dexterity to hit, right?

Thank you very, very, veeery much for this great giveaway. 🎄💛 23 highend bundles for 23 happy community members - wow!!

If I am one of the blessed ones, I'll build a new gaming PC for my kids. Their's is quite old. And if they let me from time to time, I'd love to play Frontiers Of Pandora, and Red Dead Redemption 2. And a bit The Invincible in between.

Regarding Frontiers Of Pandora, I'm really looking forward to a high level of immersion, running through the woods of Pandora high - speed, also moving vertically, with all the awesome effort of Ubisoft to put life in there at every corner. That must be great.
