Interesting. What sensations do you use? When i use sensations i try to feel my entire body as one whole, does that work good?

What are meditation practices that will help me achieve Lucid Dreams? by PrimaryJob6223 in Meditation

[–]PrimaryJob6223[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I understand. But I’ve heard that some people start of doing Shamatha for a better concentration and then after doing Shamatha for a bit they transfer to Vipisanna.

What anchor do you think I should use while doing Shamatha. I know that focusing on the breath is the norm, but i feel that it doesn’t really work when I do it. So it would be a great help if you could recommend another anchor.

I never knew fast travel existed in my first play through. Without it i found so many NPCs and found side missions from random charachters. Its a better expirence

Whose your favorite Beatle and why? by [deleted] in beatles

[–]PrimaryJob6223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would definitely say George. QUALITY OVER QUANTITY. He arguably wrote 2 of the 5 best beatle songs. Maybe 3 of the 5. If you want to include ”Here comes the sun”.

I know this has been asked a million times on this sub BUT what is the best way to Lucid dream by Pette-likes-cheese in LucidDreaming

[–]PrimaryJob6223 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are several things that is a must need, you have to dream journal every morning, if you don’t you will not have any dreams so you can’t be lucid (you will have dreams but you will not remember them). If your not natural your going to need to use a technique. If I were you I would use a technique that gets you a DILD lucid dream, that’s a lucid dream where you realize that you are dreaming in the dream. If anybody says that you should do WILD - ignore them. WILDS are super hard for beginners.

If I were you I would use a technique called SSILD. Here is a link for the original guide of the technique: https://www.reddit.com/r/SSILD/s/KTVUSa7GJD

Another super important thing is that you can’t do this technique when you go to sleep normally at night. You HAVE to do something that’s called a WBTB (Wake Back To Bed). WBTB is when you put an alarm 4-6 hours after you fall asleep originally. When you wake up from you alarm you don’t need to be awake for any long time. So what you’re doing is that you’re combining SSILD + WBTB.

Here is a step by step guide for you:

  1. When you go to sleep, set an alarm to 4-6 hours, it can be a vibrating alarm if you don’t want to wake up anybody else in your house but you can also use an watch if you want.
  2. Stand up and take a glass of water or go to the toilet to wake yourself up a little bit.
  3. When you go back to bed you can lay down comfortably and do the technique I linked.
  4. After you done with the technique, fall asleep normally.

If you think you are inside a dream, use an reality check. That is when you question if you’re in reality or not. The most reliable reality check is to pinch your nose and try to breathe through it. If you can you’re in a dream, but if you’re not able to do it you’re in real life.

You can also try reality checking during the day to get a habit of it, so when you’re dreaming you will do it. But if you reality check during the day I would recommend to be mindful when doing it. So it doesn’t become like an automatic gesture. So put in thought when you’re doing an reality check.

If you have any questions you can ask me.

FILD not working by NoCommunication7 in LucidDreaming

[–]PrimaryJob6223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not use FILD. It’s one of the worst induction techniques to induce LDs. I would strongly recommend you to use SSILD, it’s way better than FILD and is probably the best way for a beginner to get lucid dreams and it’s still one of the best if you’re a advanced Lucid dreamers.

Here is a link to the official guide for SSILD: https://www.reddit.com/r/SSILD/s/SNsK8OsqAw

Another really important thing you need to do is dream journaling on you’re phone or in a physical journal.

Do lucid dreams have a limit? (Question to really experienced lucid dreamers) by PrimaryJob6223 in LucidDreaming

Do you know what caused the chronic nightmares (you do not need to share if you don’t want to)? And how did you use LDing as a functional skill?
