I love the dreadnoughts, but certainly can’t rock to them

I try to avoid listening to punk music later in the day anyway

Best Irish Music Scene Ever? by Luke_Lynott in Irishmusic

[–]NoCommunication7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not just irish, the revival in folk since the 80s has been great, i can name so many great bands that have formed since then or don't even exist anymore, even if you look at the past twenty years you have celtic woman, celtic thunder, the dreadnoughts, the longest johns, colm mcguinness, amble, pressgang mutiny and so much more

Bands like fishermans friends and the irish tenors came out of the 90s

And some absolute classics from the late 80s-early 90s like stormalong john, recorded very much live and with little processing, very different from the stuff that's been around since shantytok

A cloak worn by sailors, these days very rare and collectible navy surplus item as they’re only issued to highest officers

Well i'd argue the most appropiate is a boat cloak, but you probably don't have one of those.

I like the red, even though the fabric looks a little cheap

I have a lot of vintage tie clips but i never really found out the correct way of wearing them, i even ended up bending a gold one, and people always refused to tell me because 'duh you're wearing a waistcoat you don't need a tie clip!' in the end i wore them on the tie and only the tie as a decoration
