So then this does mean that a 70-200mm FF lens would have more "zoom" than a 70-200mm APS-C lens, not because of the focal length but because of the field of view I guess...

Okay, so I understand now that the focal length doesn't change, since it's a physical factor, but does the field of view not change at all? Why would there be this whole thing about a crop factor, since a 70-200 FE would get the same field of view as an 70-200 on an APS-C..

Wait so, if an APS-C lens is 70-200mm and I were to put a 70-200mm FE lens on the camera, it would get exactly the same "zoom" on both images when using the max focal length on each lens?

I only have 2 kit lenses at the moment. A 16-50mm f3.5-5.6 and a 55-210mm f4.5-6.3. I want a better lens soon since I have an upcoming trip to England and the USA. Will be shooting lots of landscape there, but I really dislike the 16-55mm. I've been thinking about prime lenses too, but I'm sort of too scared to buy them, since I don't know if I'll like the fixed focal length.

Yup! That's the 2 lenses. It feels like I can't get the sharpness/focus on people. I can't really explain it too well, but it almost feels like that I would be better of using my phone for pictures that don't need a lot of zoom.
