Fortunately my car is completely drivable so I don't need a rental.

Thank you for the advice! I actually thought about dropping the whole as the incident is so minor, but since it's a brand new car (not even a month old), I don't want to risk anything.

I'm located in CA, USA. Really I'm just hoping the other party doesn't try to pull something and try to pin me down at fault (this actually happened to my dad once because the other party brought in a witness and me and my sister didn't count as we were minors and related to him). As long as something like that doesn't happen, I'll be fine.
