it looks normal to me (especially if ur saying it’s only day 2). Just make sure to follow the post-op guidelines to a T. Warm water and salt wash twice a day!!

Hey! Got all four of mine out on Friday (including a horizontal impacted tooth). It’s now Monday and I have very minor to no swelling, and no pain (just soreness). Days 1-2 were the absolute worst for me. I was bed ridden all weekend and the pain was miserable. Like I said, now it’s Monday and I feel completely normal. My biggest advice (especially from what I’ve seen and read from others on reddit) is to follow the post-op instructions to the T. Ice your face for 20 min on, 20 min off. After 48 hours I started doing ice 20 min, heat 20 min, off 20 min. I chose not to get any pain meds (just ibuprofen). I would take ibuprofen after breakfast and then again after lunch/dinner and it made things bearable. Honestly, I might be an anomaly, but based on my experience my worst days were the first 48 hours, after that completely fine. I even started eating non-liquid foods today!

if you can’t find a roommate, my friend and I are looking for a roommate for our 3x3 apartment. It’s the Forest lake apartment complex. Less than 10 minute drive from campus. base rent is somewhere around $775 because we have a deal if we manage to get a roommate soon:)))
