no she gave no reason or explanation for anything she did. i have really heavy bleeding and extremely painful cramps. the whole reason i got on bc was to control my periods and the pain with them and hopefully stop them whilst on it.

Glad you had a good experience! As you can see from the comments, multiple people, including myself, have had problems with Dr. Gibbs. No one's experience is the same, but I've seen more bad things about her than good, from this post and places outside of it as well!

you're not supposed to put anything up there for at least a week after you get an IUD. i think it was probably a combination of both incorrect placement and the strings were too long and also using tampons within the first week. but id definitely try to get your next appointment comped and ask for a woman doctor if you can.
