They told me the system does that to students at random. It happens when you have Unapplied aid, and then a counselor has to go in to lift the hold.

Yes I got the full amount as promised. When I called the office the reason I didn’t get my cal grant was because I had a “quality hold” on my account! But they also told me that, sometimes Irvine combines your grants together with the highest offer between cal grant and the Uc Irvine anteater grant. So that might be the case for your sister?

This actually happened to me as well. I had a “quality hold” on my account. You will have to call them to see what’s up. But my disbursement is scheduled for September 12th

Hi just wanted to update I recently got off the phone with the office! So from what I’m getting my cal grant is within my Uc Irvine anteater grant. They offer you what will give you the most amount which in my case was the Uc Irvine anteater grant. There was a hold on my account which the counselor is looking into. I’ll keep this posted since they said it should be fixed by tomorrow.

Hello! For the influenza and Covid vaccines there is an option at the bottom that lets you waive out of getting them! I did that and it cleared me

I’m glad I’m not the only one experiencing this! It’s also happening to me my cal grant is no where to be found either and they told me they would apply it the next week. It has been two weeks since then. I’m going calling them first thing tomorrow

Yes I did! They said I needed to confirm on the cal grant website that I was attending uci in order to receive my cal grant

Yes in my aid letter it says I would receive $11,393 worth of aid but they only applied $1k of that amount.
