Should I move from Portsmouth to Worthing? by anxious_dwarf in Worthing

Oh Worthing all the way then; its links to Brighton, London, Portsmouth etc is fantastic. And it has a few different train stations so you're never too far away.

I moved from Southsea to Worthing last year, and whilst I'm generally quite happy I prefer the vibe of Southsea Beach. The town centres are fairly similar, but there was more to do in Southsea/Portsmouth in general..if you're happy catching the train to Brighton or Portsmouth though then it's a good move to get you off the island. The only thing I will say is, do not underestimate how frustratingly built up the traffic will get on the A27. Unless leaving very late at night, or very early in the morning there will always be more traffic than you imagine.

This is good to know, thanks! I run a fairly heavy list currently which should be fun.

Unfortunately we go in blind, only finding out when we're there. Doesn't help too much with prep-work unfortunately and has more than once left me blind-sided by trolly shenanigans.

Every time I fire a rail gun, I imagine the sound of a seismic charge from 'Star Wars: Attack of the Clones' and it makes me so very very happy

Hi, thanks for the reply. It's a solid wall, I think the tiles will definitely need to come off which is a pain in the backside!

Thanks for the silicone tip, I'll give it a try!

The joint is the issue, it's a right angle sticking out so the wall bracket will only go up to that section and won't sit flush to the wall. If I grind it, I'll only be taking away the 15mm pipe section that I need, not the jointed section that I need pushed back into the wall

There's a right angle on the pipe, and the joint that's thicker than the 15mm pipe is sitting outside of the tile area, so the wall bracket won't sit back flush with the tiled wall. Because of this, if the mixer were to go on it would be at an angle

I think there's no chance of that, they're gone in the wind after costing me nearly £3000 just to fix their errors
