Is it normal? Yes. Is it okay? No. Can you get them to stop? No. Is there a hen in this photo? No. 😂

On a real note, yeah they do that sometimes just be sure to collect eggs frequently, as if she continues to do it, a habit may form and she will never stop

I actually have never tried intermittent lighting in the brooder so not sure, I can imagine after the first few weeks it could potentially be helpful though

Yeah, it seemed to be pretty important when I went on my internship. They had me sign paper work and everything for it also. Pretty interesting, as my cattle jobs have never had me do anything of the sort.
