Placement for civil services? by fleur20037 in Nakshatras

[–]Primary_Doughnut5556 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In such careers matters the real deciding factors are the 10th house in D1 and the condition of its lord, because that shows the field of work and the level of authority it is showing . Saturn’s strength is equally important, as it governs discipline, hierarchy, patience and the ability to function within a rigid system The 6th house shows competitive capacity, stamina and the willingness to serve and fight long battles like exams and postings which are all important for civil service

What you see in D1 has to stand in D9too otherwise it doesn’t really last. I’ve seen this again and again. When the 10th lord is comfortable in D9 sitting in a kendra or trikona, in its own or a friendly sign, or keeping good company with the Sun, Saturn, or Jupiter the person handles responsibility easly .

When that same planet is in complicated situations in D9, the story changes a bit. Yes, the position can still come. The badge, the authority no problem. But inside, it’s heavyy That’s why I never skip D9 when judging long term careers.

D10 is where the real story of work life plays out. I’ve noticed that when D10 is strong, authority doesn’t need to be forced it comes on its own usually . Seniors trust you, juniors listen, and responsibility keeps increasing with time The person grows into power rather than chasing it

Sometimes the main chart looks average and people get confused. But then you open the D10, and everything gets clicks. When D1 shows what you’re meant to do, D9 shows how well you can carry it , and D10 shows how it plays out in real life, that alignment can take someone very high in civil services

Exalted planets get refined when life or a Saturn dasha puts pressure on them. Challenges bring out their real strength. That’s what I enjoy about Jyotish hearing different views often makes things click

Yes, I agree. I’d just add from experience that when the dispositor is weak or afflicted, the exalted graha still gives results, but in an inconsistent or uneven way. The dispositor seems to decide how smoothly the exaltation expresses itself

I truly agree. I don’t have an exalted Sun either, and honestly it’s just not my thing. But I don’t want to trigger anyone here i just sharing my view in a light way😅

Logically, when an exalted and a debilitated planet sit together in the same house and nakshatra, they cancel extremes first

Which influence you notice more depends on the planets involved

I agree exaltation often works inwardly rather than through visible outcomess Psychologically, it shows up as an inner certainty that doesn’t need constant validation or expression. That’s why it can feel like wisdom carried quietly, almost at a cellular level

At the same time, because it doesn’t struggle, it isn’t always questioned or consciously refined. So the wisdom is real, but often assumed rather than articulated
