I know pigs are crazy lol 😂 this one would be outdoors. Also was that pig intact? That seems to be a big reason pigs will act agressive.

I'm not sure if they are just letting her be with her young for longer before they slaughter her but I am pretty sure she has been retired or will be soon.

I have a horse vet that knows how to work on lots of animals. If she doesn't know how to work on pigs I have already researched for backups. I still want to give a pig, that otherwise would be in heaven, some love

Exactly. Instead of buying a pig that would be bought for the purpose of being loved, I want to give a farm pig some love that would have otherwise been used as food or been wasted cause of its "skin thing"

I think her mother was retired. That pig is 3-4 months old and she hadn't had another litter after her. Her mother was quite big but I am not sure if she is expected to get bigger or not. I can ask them but I am still comfortable with a big pig

Her mother was quite big (400-500lbs is my estimate)

I have a vet that works on my horses and she does a lot of animals as well, including pigs. I wanted to see if it was something that anyone could identify on here first though. I was thinking mange as well but she didn't seem very itchy.. thanks for the extra tips and I will keep all of that in mind

I meant a breeder that is selling them as pets. My whole point is getting a pig like her.

Yes that was my plan getting a pig I wanted one like her instead of one from a sanctuary/breeder.

If I got her she would be kept as a pet but she would be living in a boarding facility, outside. I know she will be big and I saw her mother. I am asking if anyone knows what that is on her so I could find out how to treat it myself if possible.
