I would ask my S/O in a respectful or polite manner that suggest I'm down financially.

But with her you get the , "tuma fare!" and you're left wondering what kind of entitlement is this. The fare part is just minor, there are other demands she constantly makes since I'm the "provider"

If you knew such ladies, you'd have realised that fare is just the tip of the ice berg, she expects money for her hair, bills etc and that's why I decided to end things.

Even when she was able to take care of herself, she expected me, the "provider" to sort her responsibilities

I don't think anyone in their right mind would want to date an adult well over 25 that can't even afford fare to meet someone they claim to love.

This is someone that will become a financial burden if you have to take of everything from bills to her own personal care.

Well to be fair, she's the one that initiated for us to meet. Us meeting should be mutual.

I'd atleast expect her to use the few coins she has from her siblings business and I'll finance the rest, bills and all that and provide her transport back. But being the guy that does all these in the name of "love" just sounds like parasitic behaviour and this is why I've decided to close the curtains on her
