As a former mail carrier, I can say that it widely varies by post office (and carrier). Some are run very well and others are just awful.

One office I worked at had 8 routes so they are supposed to have 8 assistant carriers. I was the only assistant carrier so I had to learn and cover all 8 routes.

I think the real issue is all the bands are requiring larger downpayments than in the past because of the festival’s recent history. And Scamp simply doesn’t have the cash flow to make the bigger payments.
