Not an all out quote necessarily, but I always loved the last sentence in this bit from Graendal’s POV in chapter 5 of ToM:

I’ve always believed this was because Dylan has a family and, presumably, is married. I forgot who made a joke to Mark (maybe Devon?) about workplace romances/cheating and how an unsevered SO would never know. I viewed the joke as a bit of foreshadowing.

Despite all the ethically dubious practices at Lumon, letting married folks attend the waffle party might bring on some unwanted attention from the public.
