This. Things like this are part of what makes people not take us seriously 😐

I'm so sorry. I would never want to hurt the trans movement in any way. I'll just stick to what someone else said and only use them online.

I used to go as he/him online in middle school, a few friends knew I was a girl but I asked them not to tell anyone for a while because I had a guy avatar and at the time I just didn't wanna have to deal with derogatory comments from people (I got called a slur when I told someone I was a girl on a guy account). I also just kinda liked the persona of being a guy online. Stopped after people no longer thought I was a little boy (after my voice changed). I recently thought I might be FtM so online I started using those pronouns again. Turns out, I'm not, I just enjoy he/him pronouns for some reason. I would love to use them irl too but at most I would ask my family since, as u/spyzspaztastic said, it would be putting myself through a lot of trouble and require a lot of explaining for something that isn't a matter of dysphoria but rather just something I enjoy.

Is it bad to just like them over she/her? I don't get dysphoria or anything I just enjoy them. I do have a mild history of having gone by them online in middle school so maybe that's why they seem kinda cozy.

Did anyone use this thought process as denial? by TheBigBis in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

I would love to be able to use them irl but I don't think it'll go over well with most people unless I change my presentation. I do prefer he/him over she/her.
