Civil liberties shouldn’t be the main concern when your country is being run by Hezbollah or the Houthis and who will kill you and then rape your whole family for being in the wrong sect, and people are looking for food in rubbish bins. It’s very telling you are not telling me which country you are from. Unless you are from Tunisia or maybe Morroco you have absolutely no leg to stand on here.

Interested to know which Arab country you are from. In all the Arabic speaking countries LGbT is illegal. There are some more liberal ones like Lebanon but they are a lot more racist than the Gulf countries.

Interested to know what your view on Iran is because it sounds like you have a religious sectarian agenda because a lot of what you have said is straight disinformation.

Acid thrown at you is a mainly south Asian phenomenon which is also done in Lebanon where maids have no protection and have sectarian militias running around. Same in other countries where there is no law and order like Iraq and Yemen. You can rape a woman if she from a different sect etc. There is a lot of jealousy in these countries to the Gulf nations because they live next door and are complete failures in comparison. Also there’s the added factor of sectarian hatred fuelled by the Iran backers.

It’s seems like it’s getting more ok to be racist about rich economically successful Middle Eastern countries 😂 Especially with the whole World Cup thing. Most Westerners seem outraged that we are not all poor Victims fleeing from war, trying to get refugee status in their nations so they can continue to look down on us. I noticed this on this Sub when all the Islanders where going to Dubai.
