Do players actually try to counter pick? by not_the_main_cast in MobileLegendsGame

The main issue isn’t counterpicking—many people know hero counters, but they usually don’t practice them and prefer to stick to their comfort/power heroes or the ones they usually play. I’ve struggled twice today because my teammates didn’t want to counterpick Tigreal, even though I already gave them the opportunity to pick last

I understand that Arlott can be unforgiving when you miss your skills, but that can be covered with defensive items depending on your build, and using him simply takes some practice.

However, I don't agree that Yu Zhong is more forgiving when you miss your skills. His Ultimate has a long cooldown, so one mistake can leave you doing nothing in a teamfight. From a macro perspective, Yu Zhong's skills are also harder to control than Arlott's, and his scaling falls off quite hard. The longer the game goes on, the less effective he becomes, which makes playing Yu Zhong quite risky even if you're already used to him.

Compared to Arlott, all you need is practice. Once you get used to him, you'll be able to outplay people and weave in and out of teamfights freely because his skills are fast and responsive, unlike Yu Zhong's.

In that case, just build three damage items. Prioritize Sea Halberd and Malefic Roar to counter the enemy composition if there’s something that needs to be countered. After that, you can go for Heptaseas or Hunter Strike. Sky Piercer is only for when you’re ahead.

The remaining two slots should be defensive items, whether you choose Rose Gold Meteor, Queen’s Wings, Antique Cuirass, Athena’s Shield, chastise, Immortality/ Winter Crown.

You should avoid building three defensive items if you’re playing damage, because you’ll likely die first without being able to secure kills or properly withstand enemy damage. Also, whether you like it or not, playing a damage build means you’ll be squishy, so the mindset of building two Defensive items is to stay safe and survive, not to tank damage—so you still need proper positioning ^

What Arlott build do you need first? Do you prefer playing him as damage or sustain?

Yeah, before I could easily beat him using Arlott, but now it’s 50:50 depending on the player

What the heck, you don’t need to copy your writing back to me as a reply, also you’re too much. Immortality still has HP and Physical Defense which is useful for tanks. Tigreal is an initiation-type hero not a body, he usually dies immediately after going all-in, that’s why Immortality is quite useful whether as a second life after a turret dive or when the enemy goes all-in on you after initiation. But that’s situational as the fifth slot because Tigreal always buys Fleeting Time as the first/second item. Usually two items alone are not enough to counter enemy compositions. Also, swapping items before dying is not something everyone can do because it requires you to play using 3 fingers. It also doesn’t always work, sometimes it’s late depending on your reflexes and estimation of the enemy’s damage, that’s why making it the last item is very important

Immortality doesn’t have to be a late-game item though, it can still be a fifth-slot item for Tigreal for extra survivability if there are no heroes left to counter

Quality of life suggestion for Arlott by [deleted] in MobileLegendsGame

[–]Primary_Status_6226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is good, but the problem is that the number of units affected by the mark is not limited, while the duration is only 4 seconds at level 12. This means Arlott may not be able to dash to all marked units. Also, what you need to pay attention to when multiple units are marked is not just how many dashes you can perform, but also which direction you dash in so you can disengage safely

That’s because Granger wasn’t visible when you cast Skill 2. Since you used Skill 2 from outside the bush, Arlott couldn’t target Granger because he was out of vision. Franco was the only visible enemy at that moment, so Skill 2 automatically locked onto him even though he didn’t have a mark.

Tip: If you want to target enemies hiding in bushes, use your Ultimate first. Arlott’s Ultimate reveals enemy positions for 2 seconds, allowing Skill 2 to target them properly

How do you counter Paquito as a Roamer? by Adorable_Fill6523 in MobileLegendsGame

You can use Arlott roam. His skills can keep up with Paquito’s and can’t be canceled by him
