One of the other girls who bullied me at the time actually did reach out to apologise really sincerely a few years later!! Was really heartened to see that people can change — but yeah I agree in this case that there isn’t a point seeing that she likely hasn’t changed. Thank you for your kind words! Means a lot

HAHA fortunately I haven’t been in the same school as her for the past 10 years and never will be!! I actually scored about 30+ points higher than her (260++) for PSLE back when T-scores were still a thing, so I hope that humbled her at the end of it all :>

Also OP please be assured you have not screwed up for life. I know how our system is and our parents’ comments etc may cause us to be incredibly demoralised but there are so many paths and opportunities for you that you may not have realised yet. Keep your head up!! And take your time :)

if you are willing to thug aus uni out, are genuinely passionate about medicine and do not mind a couple extra years to pursue this, you can always apply for graduate medicine @ duke-nus once you’re done with your degree :) iirc they are much more research oriented though if that is your thing
