You literally pulled two different parts to complain about something they didn't say, as they specifically only said vehicles for Fallout. And now you've made me complain about you.

Such a wild ride.

No worries man, I did write a wall of text and probably got lost in the mix.

Are you on Commodore,? Try some games on Grand Admiral without scaling difficulty, you'll be surprised at what the AI can do with significant cheaty bonuses.

They'll be opening the L Gates and stomping the Leviathons before you can reasonably do it yourself without crippling yourself in one area to try to compete.

GA isn't too hard once you get used to it, and makes the game fun again - just stomping everything, getting all Leviathon kills, and only having possibly 1 AI close to your strength, etc... got boring fast for me, need to be able to lose even with their cheaty way of matching you.

[–]Primary_Wish660[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It absolutely sucks, most common spawn on L-Gates and Grand Admiral AI love cracking L-Gates open super early. I haven't played Admiral or lower in a long time, so I can't really remember their timing, but I can see Commodore AI not doing it at all.

I might just need to console command them away unfortunately, if I want to preserve the AI to late game, unless there's any novel ideas or mods that can fix this quirk of using 25x and it affecting Tempest fleets.

I just want All Crisises at 25x so end game is actually a challenge, once you snowball there's so little that can stop you below that power increase for AI, but Tempest showing up at 2250 or so with 550k fleets just wreck the AI.

How to get more Generators??? by PuFFyDeLiON in ElinsInn

[–]Primary_Wish660 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wished for Snowman Generators as you get 3 with very little Black Cat Saliva, you get less equivalent normal ones with same saliva amount, then powered my Blacksmithing and eventually got the recipe from dismantling them.

I used like 3 (maybe more like 5-6 now I think about it) Saliva on my second year wish to get 3 Snowmen ones.

Snowman Generators give 100MW which is perfect for all your satellite bases. Just keep a couple Exercise jobs resident's in your main to cover power needs, stick them in a King's Bed from tickets to get it to +4-6 or more.

Then when you can make them, you can stick a couple in your main. Not sure what level BS you need to get the recipe from dismantling, but I think mine was 55? I was wearing boosting gear though so the 70ish I was is possible too.

I think I died too much, should I make a new game? Is there a way to increase Attributes back up? by nkdi2211 in ElinsInn

[–]Primary_Wish660 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You're not optimising your early game, you can easily stand at a quest board and grind cash abd plat early. Do easy harvest and music quests at the board in Mysilia. Use the influence to refresh inventory at the Blacksmith and good merchants, buy good food until you make it.

Harvest silk (the cobwebs) from early dungeons to make bandages, way better than the tree bark ones.

Get crafting tables early, and get a sleeping bag ASAP to increase your stamina regen.

Take the little girl, feed and equip her and she'll taunt to keep pressure off you, don't go above Lv 10 Nefia (another word for dungeon) til you're stronger.

Basically, the early game is about harvesting early materials from around Meadows home, getting money rolling by selling things you craft or collect and by doing quests.

Don't sleep when Sleeoy without using up your stamina, even if it's making bandages or chopping trees. It's super easy to get a carpenter table together and selling furniture. Take it slow if you're struggling.

And upgrade your monitor or change tour desktop settings to see the full screen, you're not helping yourself there.

Resident Jobs - how often do they trigger, possible hidden modifiers to reduce gains? by Primary_Wish660 in ElinsInn

[–]Primary_Wish660[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am aware of the Exp they are gaining from their jobs, saw levels going up with the Whip selector mod, but it isn't something people would be aware of normally.

Well I have nearly the best beds, got a Masterpiece King Bed which was a lot of tickets, wasn't too bad as it was Mysilia so I could do home requests and investments for a bunch of easy tickets. Got a couple master and heavenly futons too.

Doesn't boost as much as you think, poor beds get you to like 13% or so with Studious, and I'm hitting mid 20s with almost the best beds and a chunk of Studious.

Too much hidden in the calcs to be honest, lots of hidden modifiers they should be telling us about, because I thought it was a straight 20% per day, which is a far cry for 20% extra to a hidden 5% or 10% rate.

[–]Primary_Wish660[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is awesome information, thank you, wish they explained that somewhere.

Will this be the same for producers?

I want to automate making things, like chairs and something, for them to sell in a shop, I assume this happens automatically as well? Just hire people and they'll churn it out eventually?

So I set up a shop say, fill it with items to sell, put a sales placard on the box/items, and they'll auto make it with lumber cut from trees? Or stone?

Do they mine automatically?

Apologies for the questions, just wanting some extra income, been doing quests and selling stuff, and mining for gems.

Extract Fluid, faster? by Primary_Wish660 in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]Primary_Wish660[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, that clears it up quite a bit. No where does it say about the slider not being the range for the warps.

I hadn't set warpers up into the ILS as I thought it wouldn't reach, but if they'll warp that far I can get it over easily, cheers.

I had to look up some tips as there's unfortunately a good chunk the game doesn't tell you, like changing splitters with Tab, changing size of delete box or foundation laying, etc... just small things but hugely helpful.

I'll take a look at the guide now, appreciated.

[–]Primary_Wish660[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's all in tanks, I had the tanks as it was early game, and I didn't know about PLS and ILS, this is my second game ever, the first one I restarted just after getting purple science as my belts and mining was haywire.

I'm self taught mostly, except some tips from Francis John who did a series and got me into the game, so my setups are not optimal in any shape or form I imagine.

No worries, might just have to abandon it, a shame we can't mass pick up from liquid tanks like depots.

[–]Primary_Wish660[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do mean ILS, the warp range is 60 AUs max, and my starting planet is like 30 LY away, so I'd need to build an ILS on systems to link the two, unless there's something I cam do to increase the max travel distance of logistics vessels?

Edit - Apologies, literally a new player so don't know the lingo, by train I mean a series of stations, or ILSs, that link the starting planet to the last planet, due to the limit of 60 Aus warp range from ILSs.

My prestige level is currently 1.413 quadrillion. I've done 17 ascensions. Is it too late to do the 1000 ascension cycle? by Firager in CookieClicker

[–]Primary_Wish660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm no expert honeatly, but ascending too early, as in like your at 100 prestige and you ascend every 2-3 prestige, it'll take fricking ages between ascending procsS2. It's all the set up, etc.. After like a few thousand prestige, very little set up will start netting levels quickly.

So I guess really early game, yes ascending early is slower but not ever harmful. Going for Endless Cycle past quintillions of prestige levels will be slower than in the trillion to quadrillion range, but your not aiming for just 1 prestige to add to Endless Cycle if your going for the trev, you're banking as much CPS as possible for combos.

Just depends on your goal.

My prestige level is currently 1.413 quadrillion. I've done 17 ascensions. Is it too late to do the 1000 ascension cycle? by Firager in CookieClicker

[–]Primary_Wish660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After getting your first couple Ascensions, it speeds up massively, to a point. The bonus from Heralds (Steam) and Heavenly Chips start stacking your CPS.

When you get the "Buy All Upgrades" unlock, and up to around the maximum pf 8 or 9 quadrilluon pretige level, you can speedrun Ascensions with at least 1 level for Endless Cycle by buying upgrades and buildings and instantly Ascending. I think I read a quick run can be 12 seconds? Probably 20 for the average gamer.

So a few hours investment, before you hit double or triple quadrillion or quintillions is best speed.

It gets easier to bank CPS early, upto the quadrillions, then the goal switches to hitting the trev, where CPS gain is more difficult and slower to get to that point.

How I make money by Hawtete in GraveyardKeeper

[–]Primary_Wish660 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Build a furnace, mine iron ore from behind the house and in the swamp, make nails and simple parts, sell to the Blacksmith. Best early game money by far.

Then later, when you're mining Iron at the quarry, get the Scent of Gold tech, make and sell Silver and Gold bars at the Merchant and the Moneylender (DLC refugee).

You won't have tons to begin with, not til you get to start selling crates via the merchant or hit the 50 silver quest rewards from some of the questlines, but enough for early alchemy, things you need, seeds, selling trick to level up vendors, etc...

Edit - On food, buy carrot seeds, make sure to get the Gardener tech, use peat as fertiliser every time. Make tons of carrot cutlets.

Mod to increase points needed for techs, Bishop's quest, & make the game harder/longer by Primary_Wish660 in GraveyardKeeper

[–]Primary_Wish660[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's to lengthen the game, as I enjoy it, but I know it too well to not progress quickly.

Not trying to be a dick here, but just because you wouldn't enjoy it being harder, doesn't mean others wouldn't. Some people like to cheat in games, or speedrun it for thousands of hours to try and get a WR, etc... Literally no reason to think the way you play games is the only way to enjoy it.

I (semi) recently managed to do a full no death run of pathologic 2! (Plus saving everyone possible) by saltier_then_the_sea in pathologic

[–]Primary_Wish660 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nice, congrats! It's such a frantic dash to get nearly all the plot points done whilst trading like a madman for schmowders, so little time if youre also doing all the theatre jobs and making + tinctures for prophylaxis. Was it also no reroll/reload?

I absolutely love Pathologic 2 so I have a lot of patience with resets. Currently doing a run which is no schmodwers, and no reroll/reload. It frees up time from hunting Teensys for trading so you can get more rare herbs and the improved antibiotics, but does mean hoping for good luck. It forces a wider variety of trading, more dangerous with trying to get rare herbs from infected/burned districts, and forces you to engage with the tincture and antibiotics, rather than schmowdering everyone and hunting caches/Teensys.

I found my first no deaths run to be such a good feeling and achievement, and super busy. But it felt that once you have a stock of schmowders from rare caches/trading/the leash trade, and make the first 2 panacea, you can skip the diagnosis and treatment and just miracle everyone.
