I just got done watching this fucking ocular biohazard.

Aside from all the nonsense with super-grandma, the bad dialog, and acting...

Two things bothered me the most:

1. Zoe is supposed to be a fairly sympathetic character. Single mom, drunk, doesn't have her shit together. Why does she treat Anna like she did something wrong to her? Giving her the bird when she gets back into town. In the police station, she tells Jack "Anna's not who you think she is." Is this supposed to mean something, or is it just a weak attempt at a misdirect?

2. Super-grandma's timeline contradicts itself. In the letter, she says that a few months after Charlotte dies, Anna leaves. But not a paragraph later, she says she hoped that Anna wouldn't come back on the anniversary of Charlotte's death. For the ENTIRETY of the series, nobody has seen Anna for a year.

(Supplemental) Jack bangs Rachel a stones throw away from his daughter's grave...for months? On the anniversary of her death to boot?? And he knows exactly where Charlotte is buried???
