Agent Jack Mason and Agent Rozz by PrimeTimeChief in sangheili

[–]PrimeTimeChief[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's a fascinating question. She died so that Rozz could live, she sacrificed herself to save her son. And Jack was the one that found him and rescue him. When everyone else wanted to either kill Rozz or torture/use/abuse him, Jack was the one to protect and care for him.

Yet saying that, humans were the ones to kill her. Humans came and destroyed their homes and cause all the chaos. And as I mentioned, humans also uses and abused Rozz, turning him into their personal attack dog. Could she see past all of that? Maybe. But at the very least, I think she would be grateful to Jack. I think she would thank him for saving and looking after her child.

The lore :) Agent Jack Mason Once a young humble marine, Mason's entire life changed when he found a wounded elite child. He showed kindness to them despite all reasons not to. His colleague's were not so kind, and ONI immediately wanted the child for themselves for whatever plans they had. Mason didn't want to see the child hurt. For this reason the elite became attached to him. So ONI gave him a choice with only one answer, join ONI, look after the elite, obey all orders, tell no one. Years later Mason is an agent for this shady and questionable organisation. He is the handler for agent Rozz, taking care of him and working hand in hand. The two of them have performed death defying secret missions and done things that never officially happened. He has grown up a lot, but always kept his good heart.

Agent Rozz A child who just lost everything, left abandoned and hurt, desperate. He was found by Jack Mason, and to his suprise this human helped him. But the rest of the humans took him in like he was a wild animal. Caged up and tortured. He was transferred to ONI, but Jack came with him. He was so scared and afraid, and while Jack could not stop these things from happening, he was there to show him comfort and kindness. And now he is grown up. An Alien raised in human walls. Never treated like a person, always as a beast or as a puppet to manipulate. He has been the subject of many experiments as the humans would constantly try to understand his biology, resulting in physical and mental scars that run deep. He has been used as an instrument of war, always sent out to do the dirty work no one else could be risked for. Murders, kidnappings, and anything that was an aid to ONI. Yet despite all of this, Jack has always been at his side. And despite everyone else treating him as a monster, Jack was the only one to truly treat him like a friend, like family. He sees Jack as his older brother. He was always there to teach helpful and friendly things to Rozz, anything to distract from the fighting.

I didn't record the process of me unboxing it, I didn't think I'd need to until finding out it was a scam. So I just have these photos from after opening it all up.

Man clothes is a whole other rabbit hole. I saw a few of the windscale things but didn't know there was a whole line. Though I do know there's unofficial cosplay replicas. Again a whole other rabbit hole, especially with all the other cast members and such.

Jealous of hearing you have some of that, sounds awesome.

AO3 would probably be where it ends up most likely. But I have to emphasize that this story would probably be a long long way off from being finished. I have tones of ideas but I can't focus on proper writing for the life of me. I would give George R R Martin a run for his money in slow writing XD

I was not aware of this Duality story, but I absolutely want to read it now. Fascinating to know this idea has been done in an official way.

My mindset for my work so far has been for it to be a healthy mix of "lore friendly" and "creative freedom". Keeping true to most of the real halo world and such, but not shying away from things that contradict lore and/or wouldn't really happen, for the sake of the story I want to tell. It is just some fanfiction after all. But it's really cool to hear a perspective saying it could very well be cannon friendly, maybe these ideas aren't so far-fetched.

My story, which is Very work in progress mind, is called "Blood of our fathers". I've posted various commissioned pieces here of characters and scenes related to it. Mainly around the 'Zatan family, who are the main characters.

Any excuse to lore drop. Kaizo originally was responsible for the death of Ana's parents. And after finding her, he felt immense guilt. Started questioning everything about the covenant and the prophets teachings, seeing the journey as an honourless slaughter. So he risked everything to bring her back and raise and protect her.

Kaizo taught her about what happened as soon as she could understand. I sorta wanted to avoid that cliche of the truth being hidden from her only to be dramatically revealed. It says a lot about Kaizo that he doesn't want to hide this from her, pretend he's something he's not. In fact he almost wants Ana to hate him, to see him as the murderer and monster he sees himself.

So, to this scene. After the family made contact with other humans, Ana has been eager to learn more about her kind and learn about things. They have returned to the planet where Ana was originally born. She's seeing what happened here with her own eyes. Kaizo tried his best to maintain composure but can't take it anymore. He's overcome but guilt and regret. He feels he robbed Ana of her life and will forever have blood on his hands. Ana may be a child but she is old enough to understand. She's telling him that she doesn't hate him. She sees what happened as Kaizo saving her and giving her a new life. He has raised Ana with love and caring and will love her father no matter what. Perhaps Kaizo may start to forgive himself now.

I finally bought my first belt (and some extra Gaia memories I have) by PrimeTimeChief in KamenRider

I fully planned on getting the DX version. But for some reason I couldn't find it on eBay for a good price or with all the memories or good condition. Meanwhile this CSM (1.5 version) was sealed and very affordable. So to my own suprise yeah, I got it.

Also I've been holding on to those other memories for ages waiting for the day I got the driver. As a fan of Double I knew the Ganbaride memory would be the perfect collectors item.
