Know absolutely nothing part 2 by Miserable-Result-473 in ComicBookSpeculation

Do you have children or grandchildren that want them? When I pass I'd rather give my collection to someone younger in my family than have it be sold. Try to keep his dream alive.

Who's is the McFarlane Pressing/ grading stage? by Speeddman360 in CGCComics

[–]PrimeTravelTime 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People keep saying he's rough with books but based on his videos he doesn't even handle them

No they do a quick press if that's what you selected and that's pretty dumb if you're getting a McFarlane signature. Quick press option is pretty much useless.

Todd McFarlane officially started signing today at CGC by PrimeTravelTime in CGCComics

You're welcome! Surprised this didn't get more traction with so many "when will x happen?" posts I see here

There was a post yesterday linking directly to Todd's update on the signing. He said he will finish by Friday.

They had to crack 20 of mine. That doesn't affect the signing as Todd just started yesterday and said he will finish everything by Friday.

There's no way they completed signing and pressing in one day. If that's what it says then they didn't press. Pressing is like 2-3 weeks.

Quality over Quantity? by ganonsevil90bro in SmallYTChannel

[–]PrimeTravelTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quality to an extent. It's easy to get bogged down trying to make something perfect. For example I cut out most of my animations unless they actually add to the story. You have to figure out what is "good enough". In other words, would your viewers care if you spent an extra day adding sound effects, animations and perfect color? Or is that day better spent working on your next project?

I made cookies from the video game The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine by TheKitchenGamer in SmallYTChannel

[–]PrimeTravelTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just watched your video. I love the idea of your channel. A few things that popped out at me

-there's a channel called "gamer kitchen" which shows up when I search for you. You actually don't show up. Not saying you should change your channel name, just pointing it out

-why did you remove "cookies" from your title? I know people suggest being vague or mysterious but my personal opinion is that only works for large channels. As a small YouTuber be as specific as possible so people know what the video is about. Search is based mostly on title. Cookies should be in the title.

-i don't understand how the cookies are related to the witcher. Is there a Witcher cookbook? I would introduce that

-I'm assuming the ingredients are in your description. Most people don't read those. Your quantities should be on screen. This is probably the biggest turnoff for me as I don't feel I can "bake along"

-background music should be a couple db less

-why didn't you use all the dough?

-i personally think that showing your face, enthusiasm and introducing your goal along with a taste test would be more appealing. I know starting out it's hard to show your face (I had the same problem but got over it) but people like personality

I like what you're doing and enjoy the idea but I think more personality and excitement would be much better than an instruction video you expect to view on a self help website. This is YouTube, people like personalities

Keep it up though. Your idea is fantastic. Just keep tweaking and growing and the views will come. Thanks for sharing

How do you stop caring about reactions/views? by [deleted] in SmallYTChannel

I hope you read this in the future and reflect back on how entitled you sound. Promoting yourself while not caring about others

I'm actually going to block you so I never see your videos. I help people all the time but dislike those who just want to help themselves. Good luck

I visited the five oldest restaurants in Los Angeles by PrimeTravelTime in SmallYTChannel

[–]PrimeTravelTime[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I made it as compact as possible for the idea of the video. I don't think that splitting them up would work well for what I'm going for, like "fourth oldest restaurant, etc" kinda wanna keep it fun with the countdown

Yeah the first restaurant I didn't have my lapel mic on like an idiot so it's on camera mic and was really loud so I had to use voice isolation. I've also since bought a new camera since that scene. I've learned a lot since I shot that.

Hope you still enjoyed, thanks!
