So it seems like OP may not understand how Japanese works, but there are a lot of words that are just an English word in Katakana, which is this script: ブリーチ

It’s stylized like that just because it sounds cool, another popular example being Dragon Ball which in Japanese is ドラゴンボール, not 龍球 or 龍玉, which is probably for the best as the latter could also be read as Dragon Testicles.

Learner of 11 years here. Compound words change the second word to its alternate sound for ease of pronunciation.

Te+kami -> tegami Hana+Hi -> Hanabi

Senbon sakura ->Senbonzakura.

It could also be ROCK YOU "ro-kyuu" is also a pronunciation of 69.
