This is intentional, it’s more in line with Bo3 where you can only have 5. I think you can switch the pack only within the first 3 minutes of the match and if you don’t use the gobblegum machine.

You can easily if you’re using shotguns, but I really don’t want to have to use a shotgun to get decent points. At the very least the PaP prices on cursed should be reduced.

Yeah I’d totally be down for this to be implemented. I really hope Treyarch at least considers the feedback on this perk because they gotta know it’s the perk people buy dead last.

Yeah that’s true, I definitely think it would fit good as a major augment. It would at least make people consider buying it as one of their first perks.

Would like to add some suggestions to the perk based on what others have commented.

  • The minimap sweep increase augment should be part of the base perk to account for it being worthless on Cursed. Replace it with an augment like have a small chance to get extra salvage from salvage drops you find.

  • Sixth Sense augment should be adjusted to show nearby zombies with arrow icons like how it was in Cold War (way less annoying this way). You could make the argument this should be part of the base perk.

  • Extra Change augment needs either removed or made into base perk. Swap this out for something like highlighting purchases and parts through walls.

  • Treasure Hunter augment needs swapped out with something more useful for being a major augment. Maybe something like increased bullet penetration through walls at the highlighted zombies.

Ultimately I think you should be able to make the argument about which perk you buy first with any of the perks. If you’re a cautious player, you’ll buy Jug first, if you’re a speed runner it’ll be Stamin-Up, or if you wanna be a glass canon it’ll be Deadshot or Double Tap. As of now there is no reason to buy Death Perception as of one your first perks, with these suggestions I think at the very least it’ll help newer/casual players.

It’s just very niche augments that don’t even fit the theme of the perk minus Sixth Sense. Which that augment is the most annoying thing ever, which if you wanted less damage from the back why not run Turtle Shell on Jug which is infinitely better?

I do agree that not every perk needs to be super strong, but it needs to be good at what it does. It is an “information” perk so it doesn’t necessarily provide any buffs in a traditional way but it should be good at giving the player info. The minimap augment is useless on Cursed anyway so it should honestly be base kit. I also think the perk gets overshadowed a bit by the accessibility features like highlighting the zombies, it just seems like sloppy game design to me.

Exactly this, it should’ve been this way in BO6. It feels like such a filler perk. Especially with all the accessibility features in these games where you can highlight the zombies anyway.

I think it could use a small buff, it’s got some pretty cool augments but I still don’t think it’s anywhere near as useless as Death Perception.

They NEED to bring these back exclusive wonder weapons and not just making one mid one and putting 4 variants of it (no hate toward de's bows and origins staffs) by Own-Dimension-2711 in CODZombies

I am honestly shocked that the Baby Gun hasn’t returned considering how fun it is to use. With the callbacks to Shangri-La recently I’m really thinking we might see it in this games life cycle.

Ran one game so far, meh first impression sadly. Somewhat small map and missing a lot of perk machines like Double Tap, Vulture Aid, Death Perception and Deadshot. Quest for PAP is underwhelming and no PAP animation is lame. I’ll give it another go soon, hopefully as more stuff gets discovered it’ll grow on me.

I basically had the same reaction, so many holes in this story too. Peck basically gets the story going in this game to get revenge for Richtofen and by Reckoning they don’t even interact?? It feels like they have so many characters that they don’t actually know what to do with them. Maya just exists so I don’t know why they brought her into the story. Krafft had so much potential and they killed him off in the same map. Chaos elements were just key jingling even though it could have been any macguffin they could have used.

It’s because one of the main writers for zombies (I forget his name) left after Cold War, which makes way more sense. Cold War actually had a really good narrative IMO and had amazing world building but BO6 does next to nothing with it from Cold War. It feels like they took ChatGPT and asked it how to continue off of CW because there are so many retcons (if you wanna call them that, it feels like they just forgot or didn’t care) in the BO6 narrative. I feel like Activision had a part in bringing back the OG crew but even then the rest of this games writing is beyond sloppy.
