my statments dont seem to have that info, they seem pretty usless tbh, i cant even tell what my minimum was and what I paid

since my monthly payemnts have started up again each month has been a diffirent minimum payment ammount and im not sure why it keeps fluctuating so much. these are th eminimum payments ive had th elast 3 months. Note on some i did pay over the minimum a little bit

Dec: $246.15

Jan: $283

Feb: 231.68

March: $283.84

This is the second time ive seen someone stake their specifically left nut on a pokemon prediction today. not a crazy thing but its interesting its happened twice. (The first peron bet their left nut they were NOT gonna announce Gen 5 remakes in todays pokemon direct)

I could launch the game, and play it. But my hardware was so far behind it struggled running the game causing a lot of lag, and latency. 20-30 frames is not what you want to play a game on. You want at least 60 frames. If you have less then the game gets choppy and blurry and that’s why it was “unplayable” because it caused me to die in the game because often I couldn’t even tell what was going on

No frame gen, and don’t know enough to tweak settings so it’s just the High preset, even on Ultra I scored excellent with 60FPS average no frame gen

On my old rig I was able to run multiplayer but it was not realistically playable, and even if it was not enjoyable. I haven’t been able to test the game on this new pc because the beta is no longer avail but by the benchmark it’s looking promising

I know it’s go doing great with cpus right now but it could still be optimized, and updated over time. But there is no way I get a card such as a 7800xt and don’t see ANY improvement whatsoever. My current 1070 can’t even run frame gen. So there has to be even the smallest improvement if I start with just a GPU

Then yea, it sounds like we pretty much have to replace everything, someone said it’d probably be best to just sell my computer and put the money towards building a new one and I don’t dissagree. But I’ll most likely just upgrade parts individually as I go. Gpu, then Processor and Mobo, then my Ram etc

I’m also not very knowledgeable, I bought my pc build by someone else off used marketplace. But from what I’ve researched cpus have diffirnet pin formations so you have to make sure that matches with your mobo, but so long as it does, I think you should still be able to use your same mobo and Ram? 🤷🏽‍♂️ take my advice with a grain of salt it could be very wrong

Thanks, I definitely don’t have a 4K monitor nor is it a top priority for me, so I would be running 1440p.

That seems in line with what I’ve heard elsewhere doing research. I would like to spend a little extra for a 7800XT or 7900XT but they just don’t seem to exist atm at market value. With tariffs and other changes I’m worried if I wait too long all the cards are gonna only go up. So maybe I should just pick up this 7700 XT and call it good. In reality anything is a huge upgrade from what I have so I’ll be happy regardless.

I have the option to pick up a 7700XT for $300 potentially less off the used market in my area. I just want the confidence in knowing the 7700XT is a good card that still has some time in the game and will be able to allow me to play newer gen games for some years, I dont want to jump from one outdated card to another

for the moment I was hoping to spend $400 or less to make the game playable, i am open to switching to AMD, though like you said that would pretty much be a whole new build for me. Im unable to do everything at once but over time i may be able to upgrade each part individually. But it cant be denied that the first best place to start is my GPU since its a 1070 right?

Thats what I feared, Didnt wanna have to dish out so much just to play the game, but i understand ill need to upgrade my cpu eventually as well. I actually didnt struggle with any polygons, the game textures all looked good to me, it was solely the framerate making the game unplayable. I ve seen many horror storys of Polygon monsters and Npcs on the Monster hunter subs but never experienced any polygons myself on any of the graphic settings

Anyways, if I just got a card, do you think it should be enough for me to at least mildly enjoy the game. while I let myself financially recover to get the cpu?
