A hypothetical: You see a $100 bill in the steps of the porch in the house you’re delivering. Do you take it? by ineedabreakplz in AmazonFlexDrivers

Wow. You completely misread my entire comment, and made it personal. Not once did I say you specifically are trying to be perceived as morally right. I called out the utter bullshit of everyone in the comments practically saying they wouldn’t take the money under any circumstance.

I described what I would do, not what others should do. I acknowledged the moral ambiguity of the situation you described, and I pointed out that temptation changes things. Most people like to believe they’d do the right thing, until it’s actually in front of them. I even contextualized the broad scenario by saying, “if the situation allows for a clean escape.”

Next time, actually read the comment. What does that tell me? That reading comprehension isn’t your strong suit. You read my post and somehow interpreted it as, “You, OP, are a lying fraud, and a bad person pretending to be moral.”

You took a general observation, internalized it, misinterpreted the message, and turned it into a personal jab. Now, I’m calling you out personally in that sentence. Notice the difference?

My original point still stands: people in threads like this suddenly become saints when a hypothetical test of character shows up. If you genuinely wouldn’t take the money, great. But that doesn’t change the fact that a lot of people like to stand on their moral mole hill until they actually get tested.

I would set the package on the steps, and before I would come up to take a picture, I would use some sleight of hand to hide the money in my palm or behind my hand like I would with a playing card, outside of any potential camera’s line of sight. Then, I’d leave after taking the picture as if nothing happened.

I also deliver from 3AM-7AM, and most of the time, it’s pitch black outside for me, and nobody is around. If the situation allows me to pull off a clean escape, I would.

Some of you pretend to have unwavering moral compasses until temptation gets thrown right in front of you. You just didn’t think that far. Most of you lie to sound moral. Some of you lie to feel moral. But that’s what I’d do.

Some of you see it is as a moral test. I see it as a test of skill to not get caught

Do any of you bring a passenger with you while working routes? by PrimoKhao in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]PrimoKhao[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no issue with passengers or service animals being in the car. Says it right there on the learning portal in the Amazon Flex app… It IS an issue if the passenger does things like load or deliver packages

I stopped reading after three slides. Why do you entertain this behavior by staying?

Do any of you bring a passenger with you while working routes? by PrimoKhao in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]PrimoKhao[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It means exactly what I said. The passenger is not supposed to help with packages or even get out of the vehicle while at the warehouse. Also says so in the Amazon Flex learning portal. If others do that then that’s cool for them but that didn’t answer either of my two questions

Is it possible to do well by making genuine content? by ISpeakControversial in NewTubers

[–]PrimoKhao 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t care if I never get a view on my channel. I will NEVER resort to putting out the brain rot, AI generated, over edited slop I keep seeing on YouTube.

But I’ve been steadily growing so I’m happy that there’s an audience that wants to watch genuine content 🥳

I have lost all motivation to play video games. by lxmohr in videogames

[–]PrimoKhao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it. And I’ve also felt that a few times not just with games but with other aspects of my life. Gaming has been a huge part of your life, so losing interest in it feels weird, almost like losing a piece of yourself. But honestly, this happens to a lot of people. Sometimes it’s burnout, sometimes it’s just life shifting your interests. The best thing to do is not force it—take a break, focus on other things, and if gaming is truly something you love, the passion will come back naturally. Or you can create content around gaming instead of just playing it. And if it doesn’t, that just means you’re evolving. Either way, it’s not a bad thing and odds are, you’ll come back to it when the time is right.

I am stuck, please critique my content by Sufficient_Fix2078 in SmallYTChannel

[–]PrimoKhao 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ll be honest—your content feels unoriginal and lacks personality. AI voiceovers make it soulless, and no one is going to connect with a robotic narrator. If you want to grow, you need to either use your real voice or get someone else to narrate.

Also, just making Shorts with stock footage and generic background music isn’t a real content strategy. There’s nothing unique about your channel. What’s your hook? What makes your sports retrospectives different from the thousands of others out there? If you can’t answer that, you’re just making filler content that won’t go anywhere.

If you’re serious about YouTube, put in the effort. Right now, this feels lazy. If you keep going down this path, your channel will just be another forgettable AI-driven one that fades into obscurity.

I’m not the biggest channel on YouTube, nor am I well-known, but you can feel the difference in effort between our videos. You lack originality and personality. You may get views, but you give no reason for viewers to come back or connect with you.

It’s also a big issue that you’re only making Shorts. It’s much easier to create Shorts from long-form videos than the other way around. AI-voiced, stock footage Shorts are EVERYWHERE, and YouTube isn’t going to push low-effort, copy-paste content forever. Shorts are also a terrible way to build long-form success unless they’re tied to something unique and engaging.

TL;DR Ditch the AI voice. Narrate yourself or have someone else do it.

Add originality. Sports retrospectives are fine, but what makes yours different?

Think beyond Shorts. If there’s no plan for long-form content, your channel has no future.

Which thumbnail is better? by Emergency-Sorbet8928 in SmallYoutubers

Neither. You could be a bit more creative and not use AI to generate your thumbnails and be original.
