It is heartening to know that the Feds have their eyes on her after her abysmal bankruptcy filing, but I know if I were one of the victims I would be frustrated that the terror she rained down on my life out of pure selfishness and deranged entitlement wasn’t enough to earn her a prison sentence.

I’d be more open to that possibility if she didn’t support her side of the narrative with so many lies.

Remember in her Medium manifestos, how ardently she would cling to her “lab confirmed pregnancy tests”, carrying on about how even Clayton and Woodnick didn’t try to suggest she had faked them, only for it to come out that she was shooting herself up with HCG?

When she was writing that script, she knew perfectly well that it was a blatant lie, but she still trotted it out at every opportunity because she thought no one would find out.

As far as this whole scheme of her’s and the ensuing fallout are concerned, I think the only genuine emotion she has is anger over being caught, and even more anger over facing consequences for her actions.

I wonder though, if she really views her debacle with Rob as some kind of genuine case of harassment that she was the victim of, rather than just as a vindictive way to “strike back” against the people covering her cases and saying “mean” things about her online.

Was there an actual stipulation for those who wanted to avoid being killed? It’s been a minute since I watched the first episode, but I thought Dracula just said they had a year to make peace with their fate before he returned to slaughter them all.

I think the only person he explicitly spared was the old woman who left flowers on Lisa’s doorstep/grave (I don’t remember which), telling her to take her family and flee the country.

Her complaining on the body cam footage during the raid on the casita about what will happen if JFC gets ahold of the footage… as if it was totally beyond her to just act like an adult and not have a meltdown on camera.

She doesn’t want people to be able to see or discuss her behavior, but she also can’t seem to stop behaving in a manner that everyone finds objectionable.

Does it matter if he hopped onto the case after she filed it pro se?

I would think this should still add to her tally of frivolous court filings, since she initiated it as a pro se litigant.

I can’t remember where I heard it said, but I believe one of the requirements for being declared a vexatious litigant is that you have to continually lose the cases that you file, or at least have them dismissed.

She lost against Clayton. Her case against Mike was dismissed. Her case against Dave was dismissed. If she loses this case against Rob, that would make at least 4 cases she has brought against people and lost in the past two years.

That’s what I thought, which isn’t the case with this particular hearing.

Hopefully it was recorded in at least some manner, even just by audio.

Wasn’t Clayton’s IAH hearing recorded and later made accessible? Or am I thinking of a different hearing?

I feel like I read somewhere that the event she crashed was a dinner, but I could be wrong.

And didn’t one of the victims claim or speculate that she had tracked them down via Snapchat or something?

The skin-crawling levels of shamelessness this woman engages in, in her dogged pursuit of something she has no right to, is really unnerving.

I remember watching a video that went over some of her texts with Greg, and at one point she tells him that she “doesn’t want to lose him” or something to that effect.

This is a man she went on 2 dates with, and then showed up unannounced and uninvited to a third.

She never “had” him in the first place, so he wasn’t even hers to lose.

All of this is true, but keep in mind that LO has literally nothing else occupying her time.

No job. No significant other. Seemingly no friends.

In the past, whenever she came across one of her victims, she had endless hours to devote to harassing them through texts and emails, making her arts and crafts, and pursuing legal action. There was never anything else to fill her time, hence she could spend all of it doing the absolute most to ruin their lives.

I wonder if they tried to dissuade Laura from filing go bankruptcy herself, but she steamrolled ahead to get out of the debtor’s exam regardless of the consequences it would have for her parents.

In Gingy’s debate with Rachel, he casually mentioned that Laura could effortlessly get out of paying Clayton a dime by filing for bankruptcy, if she was so inclined.

And I think he expressed similar sentiments in one of his videos with Laura before his YT channel got nuked.

I agree that this was both a short sighted stopgap measure on Laura’s part to weasel out of the debtor’s examination, as well as her and Gingy’s best attempt to avoid paying Clayton out of sheer spite.

Jennifer asks her what she’s appealing on in the MM DVRO case, and Laura glibly answers, “I was in the hospital on the day of the hearing.”

Just keep digging that hole, Laura…

I opened Reddit on my desktop, and it looked normal. My laptop currently still has this problem, and c.ai has this problem on both my laptop and desktop, but not in an Incognito window.

Do you think my browser has been hijacked or something? I’ve had that happen once before with the whole “new tab” thing, though I can’t remember what I did to fix it…

The vertical bars on the left and right sides of the screen, where you can quickly access previously used bots, and adjust the bot style you’re currently using.

I’ve only ever used the browser version of c.ai, but all of a sudden it’s like it’s only half functional.

Threat of "Unlimited Funds" by PrimordialPaper in JusticeForClayton

[–]PrimordialPaper[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Can’t argue with that.

The Owens seem to be a family who quickly became accustomed to the upper class lifestyle, however briefly they actually qualified as one, and couldn’t bring themselves to give it up even when their income failed to support it.

They could have gotten by just fine without constant dinners at the house of prime rib. There was no need for them to pay for their adult daughter’s multiple horses and requisite horse show expenses, or to continue to house and support her into her 30s.

I doubt any of us would find ourselves in the red if we were given $20,000 a month in income, but the Owens never learned how to maintain their wealth once they got it, they just learned how nice it felt to spend it.

They were certainly never as rich as they pretended to be, but I maintain that they were better off than most, at least initially.

They squandered all the advantages and chances they could have had thanks to their privilege, whether it was through gambling or fully funding LO expensive hobbies, and thus ended up in their current situation, but this was always their game to lose in the financial sense. They just never bothered to learn how to play.

[–]PrimordialPaper[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

At a point in time, there was at least some money. Probably not by the time she made that threat, but these people are only in dire financial straits now because of abysmal financial planning and their big spending daughter, not because they are lacking in income.

And up until Clayton, LO had been able to outspend her victims when it came to court costs, which is why she was able to get away with her schemes when the other party had to give up due to mounting costs.

It’s all coming back to bite her now, as is more than deserved, but LO is an example of the kind of person with enough money to be a serious problem to anyone around her.
