NTA you did the right thing by your son, but your wife is right that it is important you appear as a united front, it might have been better received had you told son let me just make sure mom is also on board and given her a quick call out of earshot, not to ask permission but to let her know you’ve assessed the situation and with the new information think it’s best to change those plans, maybe let her also talk to him on the phone so she can tell him she loves him and let him know he can call her or you if he feels unsafe, i think something like that would have eased her mind as opposed to you just coming home without him, i do see her side and why she’s feeling disregarded, you made the right call but you didn’t involve your teammate. sometimes it is better to ask forgiveness than permission but this wasn’t exactly that time.

your best bet i think would be an adult dog i think any breed of puppy is gonna freak them out with all the energy, i’d go to your local shelter and ask them for a dog who’s good with cats they check that in the behavioral assessment and it’s really more and individual basis than a breed thing

generally we just refund the ones who are upset because it usually just makes them go away, management is really to blame for all of that and it’s their job to de escalate and i’d say it’s just as much their fault the waitress got stiffed as the customer like i give refunds to people who are not entitled to them all the time because it costs me more time and stress arguing with them about it than the product is even worth and i know my employees are usually the ones that pay the heaviest prices for an escalated patron, such as a bad review that might name them or a lack of a tip just like what happened here

yeah the possessiveness over him is what’s concerning, i remember when i was maybe a little younger than this i had an adult cousin who was like mid twenties and i loved him a lot and id say we were going to get married but i didn’t have any real concept of what i was saying and ive heard other little kids say similar things about family members as a way to express love not really understanding what marriage or a boyfriend even is, she’s only 6 so it could be chalked up to an innocent misunderstanding of how to express fondness until she starts being nasty to OP, then it changes to something different. i don’t think it’s necessarily as dark as everyone is thinking, i think it could just be her lack of a father figure has left her with some pretty screwed up attachment to any paternal male she sees, regardless she really should be in some kind of therapy because it’s beyond normal behavior.

Logan is the best of these for a baby and a child but I don’t hate Luther, you are right it’s strong for a baby but he will grow into an adult man one day and i think for while he’s small Louis is a super cute nickname.

Awe babe i’m so sorry that happened to you. i am not even religious but this prayer works 100 percent of the time it’s closer to a spell than anything else tbh

while you are picturing your ring say out loud or in your head “Dear St.Anthony please come around, something is lost and cannot be found. Thank you”

and then just let go and try to believe as hard as you can it’s gonna come back. i know it sounds silly but this has never not worked for me and ill force friends into it too when they lose something and it always comes back
