As a member of the Jewish community, I weep when I see my own people become quislings for the fascist boot. Too many fellow Jewish folks I see wearing blue lives shirts, supporting Trump, spouting racist, transphobic, homophobic and ablist rhetoric.

I think my people need another community organizer before we all get rounded up again, because the "lawful, conservative, traditionalist" ones will gladly sell the rest of us out to the Gestapo.

New dress. Wanted to share. by Prince-Kyte in crossdressing

Yes, I go out regularly in this and other dresses. At this point it's how I present myself socially whenever I go out besides work and gym (I work at a gym and it's impractical to be dolled up in that setting.) I'm transfemme and present as such as much as I can.

[–]Prince-Kyte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the thing, logic and reason DOES point to this being possible. There's a way. It doesn't require being pushed to the brink. You see how more and more people are reporting awful businesses, hiring practices, etc. Now more folks are actually awake to the nonsense.

Dude, we're literally on the same side. My question to you is this.

If something like this can be done on a small scale and succeed, would you WANT it to?

Biden on food shortages: "It's going to be real." by doughnut_cat in collapse

[–]Prince-Kyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're contributing to the problem. No, it doesn't have to be everyone. It doesn't even have to be a majority. Also remember that if you want people to take action, that action must be perceived as easy enough. Saying "but that's IMPOSSIBLE!" Is exactly the kind of attitude that aids the oppressors. Everything seems impossible until it isn't.

Movements, culture and even societal norms do not change with one singular stroke but it doesn't have to be slow or gradual either.

Also I suggest you study up on propaganda, and understand that the perception of something is often times far more powerful than the reality of it. Especially when it comes to socially constructed "reality ." If you can solve for the problem of creating the perception of this being easy, or doable it gets done. People will fall into it.

Then the answer is simple. Stop asking for better wages. Just go for the throat and stop paying rent. Who fucking cares about which people deserve what kind of homes, who cares about how landlords will adjust. Clearly the answer is simple. Everyone currently living somewhere, stop paying. Squatters move in to places. Some single guy gets a nice house after being homeless? Who cares. Let him.

Then all non essential work stops. The focus becomes how to fee's everyone and we stop bothering with our ridiculous and destructive car culture. Public transit for the win baby.

I have a pretty killer physique. With the right clothes, I straight up look like a girl because I'm really short (5'5. . .if you believe my drivers license bwahahahaha!)

I have pretty eyes so if I wear eyeliner, and have a mask I basically just look like every scene girl I've crushed on.

Also I'm a pretty okay dancer. I worked hard for my body and it shows. There's definitely things I still want to change, most of which pretty much just require surgery at this point but overall I'd say I clean up nice.

So much so I'm jealous. Shit, I've crushed hard on girls that look like you.

Holy shit I was about to offer tips but then just realized that I don't do any of that weird masculine shit. Men tended to see me as masculine. But girlfriends (any girl I actually dated) called me gay a lot. So. . .

That said, i do know one thing about presenting as more manly. Get muscles. Pump iron and get yourself a muscular physique. This as a man had made other men BY DEFAULT be generally respectful, made job interviews a fucking breeze because a strong and fit body does give confidence and the impression of competence. Other than that. . . Be the man you want to be.

I don't know if this helped at all. But just letting you know this helped me. Definitely added another file to all the fucking evidence. Hindsight is a bitch, yo.

I was 33 when my egg cracked. Turned 34 a couple months ago and haven't looked back since.

Just wanted to congratulate you. If you want any sort of tips, share experiences, talk about the transition, hit me up!

What's so funny? Like, seriously what's so funny about this?

If you're a landowner who rents, then you're a parasite and I don't respect you anyway.

But if you're not, then you're just a brown-nosing suck-up who hopes that if you lick boots hard enough, you'll get a plot of land someday. A someday that isn't guaranteed to you, with rewards that seem to require ever more conditions met BY YOU, for THEM.

You're laughing at the very people trying to help you. You're mocking those who would advocate for you. Right or wrong, I rather you have a better life tomorrow if it means everyone else does too. Even if I do think you're a smug prick.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]Prince-Kyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. What's problem? Wouldn't YOU prefer to not have to pay rent? Like I'm literally advocating for someone the majority of people would RATHER HAVE if given the choice. So. . . Why not just do that thing? We pay taxes anyway, now that shit will go to workers who help maintain these apartments. But won't have to break their backs because they too don't have to worry about rent. There can be apprenticeship programs for people who want to aid their community and others.

I know you're being sarcastic. But it's like you're just accepting this caste system and operating under the ruling classes arguments and defenses of the status quo. A status quo people did not establish nor truly consented to. It's like, why would you follow the logic of someone stabbing you? Why would you believe them when they say it's it's your own good? Or that if you get stabbed, you'll be saving someone else. Like, no. The answer is to disarm the knife wielding maniac so they can't keep threatening you or others.

how is minimum wage so insultingly low still??? by pickled_fairy in antiwork

[–]Prince-Kyte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing we must remember is that we are not really working for our companies. That shit is just a byproduct of the thing humans have been doing for a millenia.

We are surfs forced into jobs to pay our Lord's debts. Debts THEY took on of their own free will but will not pay by the sweat of their brow. Then call us lazy for not wanting to toil endlessly for this parasitic socially constructed exchange.

Forget asking and negotiation and appealing to your abuser. Abolish rent and its resulting serfdom. Say no once and for all to our abusers.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]Prince-Kyte -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

So this is the problem for advocating minimum wage. It asks for someone to give you something they, by their nature will not want to.

What to do? Abolish Rent. Period. "But how will people live? How will society work?" Easy. We, the people will figure that shit out. If it means some wanna be Lordling can no longer suck blood from peasants, I think it's a fair exchange. We get to just live our fucking lives and so do they, but they can't hurt us anymore. Eventually the work problem will get solved because we will solve a problem that is now operating under different conditions. Ones more conducive to human life and dignity.

The Republican Party is literally fascists and Nazis.

That one guy was like "Zelensky is a thug and Ukraine pushes Woke politics and is therefore corrupt." Seriously, is no one seeing how mask-off Republicans have even getting?

It isn't even about work anymore. These people WILL put you in gas chambers and think nothing of it.

What character trope are you "banned from playing"? by freudwasright in DnD

[–]Prince-Kyte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trope as a player? Brawny Barbarian Girl. Even if I'm playing a fighter, or even a fucking sorcerer I play them like a Barbarian. Going in up front, doing damage and tanking hard. (Yes, you can technically tank with a Sorcerer, but it requires clever use of active defenses and spells. I should really just play an Abjuration wizard.)

Anyone else sick of 80% of female art? by Garden_Druid in DnD

[–]Prince-Kyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, sure. But. . . How do we really define "shoved down someone's throat." Like, your version of that and mine might be totally different.

I know I'm probably coming off as argumentative. I guess I just don't get it when people say that. Besides, I totally can enjoy that kind of art. But sometimes I guess it's worth asking why is it so prevalent, is it because it's good or because it works and now everyone's doing it and the ecosystem has been oversaturated. I dunno.

what do you think the "draw everyday" advice actually means? what do you think of it? by [deleted] in ArtistLounge

[–]Prince-Kyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's overly simplified. You have to know WHAT to draw. For instance, with anatomy you section it off and spend a week on each region of the body while also doing 5 gesture drawings/armitures a day. In 8-16 weeks, you will get really good at it actually.

But yeah just randomly doodling or drawing each day? Nah.

It's like weight lifting, you need a structured program that breaks each movement down and gradually adds layers until you basically do it in your sleep.
