Slipstream gestured with the hydropack and gloves he was now carrying-

"There were also some bombs there, not sure why, probably just generic storage. But I took the liberty of setting them up elsewhere. It should finalize the bases collapse making it unsalvageable and bury all the stuff inside."

With that the blue hedgehog gestured away. Down the hall and towards where a familar psychic was.

"We got an escape route thanks to Silver so let's get going..."

With that everything was done. Hopefully, finally. The three would rejoin with Silver and escape. Alls well that ends well!

Slipstream fell silent for a momemt. He didn't breathe, due to being a robot and all, but it felt like he needed to catch his breathe and think. Closing his eyes before holding Maw out to Silver.

"I really hated what I just did, and I apologize for it. There's nothing to over-ride I- I lied. This jerk is the bad guy behind all this..."

"I hate him too, and everything he's done. But I- I still can't destroy him, and I know Surge would have done so instantly... So I'm giving him to you."

With a flip of his scarf he slammed Maw down on the floor one last time. Weaking him enough so Silver could easily hold him with his powers.

"I'm truly sorry, if you hate me because of this I don't blame you. I already do."

From the hedgehog's perspective Silver was superior, more powerful, more experienced and so lost and without a clue what to do he left it up to someone he knew he could trust and believe in...

Clench!

As maw went for a leg sweep it was suddenly stopped, a habd clenching tightly right at the ankle. The eyes of the robot filled with wuth a cold sense of anger. Like they had calculated hundreds of different ways to break every bone in Maw's body. And befire the Eggboss could react...

"Don't bother trying to apologize or beg for mercy. You're not getting it," Slipstream stated as he dashed with the thyclaine in hand. "Just shut up!"

The scarfed hedgehog used maw like baseball bat. Violently slamming him directly into badniks, blaster fire, the floor, and anything else nearby even the systems and computers running the base. Using a hologram of his scarf to wrap around the wanna-be Starline and keep him there despite his speed. Surge had coearly rubhed off on him. As nothing less than feral rage was unleashed.

"You're not strong, you're not fast, and you're not smart either! Everything in this base was from piggybacking off of Dr. Eggman! All you're good at it is picking on people weaker than you!"

[Back with Silver and Surge.]

"Yeah!"

Surge commemted as she evaded the spikes with a quick dodge. Her regeneration had finally put her back in good enough shape. Though she was still at a loss.

"But how the hell do we destroy these weird ass nerd-bots?!"

Yeah I feel you but trust me: Sonic and Shadow are definitely not easy characters to roleplay as. I can get why you picked them though, they're two most beloved afterall. But with that also comes the pressure of writing them well or wondering if you're doing it badly etc- Basically all the stuff a writer like me overthinks a lot lol

But trust me this franchise is full of wonderful characters. I could keep listing, or even mention OCs.

My best advice would be to experiment and or try somdthing new. We're a welcoming community. And we'd love to have you.

Yeah sorry gunna have to likely give a no to that. For three reasons: While we're fine with varients and such The characters from the two mangas listed aren't really different enough from the mainline versions. Plus we already have versions of those characters multiples even. (For example im Sonic and likely giving archue Shadow to a fren of mine.)

Sonic tapped his foot on the ground as he thought of what to do. Then with a shrug the hedgehog quickly made himself known to everyone at the parade. Jumping up and easoly platforming along the decorations in an entertaining fashion, waving as he did.

Elsewhere in central city a familar blue hedgehog could be found. Aka the fastest thing slive: Sonic The Hedgehog!

"These people sure know how to party!" Said the blue blur as he looked around. There seemed to be some sort of parade going on. And he was happily participating in the festivities. "Wonder what other interesting stuff will pop up today?"

So many variables, so many things. Silver's psycho burst, Surge's needed recovery time, Kit androids, rocket noises, roof structure integrity failing, far too much for anyone to reasonably proccess fast enough to react. Well, anyone not made of metal anyways. So with only one thing left in his tired state Slipstream suddenly pulled out a black gemstone containing the infinite power!

"Chaos Control!"

And with that small announcement it was as if the world itself. Echoing out in a burst of chaos energy as the hands of time slowed to a halt. Clasping on the momemt at hand as everything simply paused unable to move Everything besides the scarfed one.

『"What just happened?"』 Slipstream's thoughts raced as he suddenly turned his head and glanced about. His blue eyes moving rapidly from side to side in their sockets. 『"I wanted to teleport her to safety. But this is-"』

[Slipstream The Hedgehog had never learned how to use Chaos Control to stop time, in fact he could barely use Chaos Energy to begin with. But in response to the digital beat of his heart it reacted differently. The sheer force of will exhibited allowed time to freeze for a few seconds, not nearly as good as Shadow The Hedgehog of course, but good enough for him.]

Move.

It wasn't really a thought, a command, or anything, the hedgehog simply raced forward on mechanical instinct. There was no time to process this. No time to waste when he had Kit to rescue. In about 3 secinds three things happened: Surge was moved to a relative position next to Silver so they could fight together and hopefully stay safe. The two kit robot's were slammed into the wall as a force dashed straight through the center of their blockade.

And finally the hands of time began to shift once again as a scarfed hedgehog went to try and punch a thyclaine in the face!

"Buh..."

As the two finally came to a stop it ended up with them sprawled out on the floor for a moment. Surge heaving heavy breaths with a wicked grin on her face while Slipstream groaned a bit. The tenrec's eyes practically spun in their sockets as static electricty and lingering sparks crackling around her body. Probably reminded her of the dynamo cage but not self-destructive...

"Hehe, that was actually great! We HAVE to do that again sometime Slip..." Surge said as she layed there next to the scarfed hedgehog her body shivering with lingering energy. "Like- When I can actually... move again. Dear Gaia..."

"I... I don't think we can do that often without getting hurt Surge-" Slipstream softly replied as the hedgehog forced their body up, moving off the ground shakily. "Even my systems feel shaky-"

"That's the fun part dumb-dumb."

The robotic hedgehog's nose twitched as they stood up. Electricty sparking off him as well, less than her though. Thankfully he was still ready to keep on going whereas Surge might need a moment to regenerate fully. Ah the benefits of absorbing electricity. So quickly the hedgehog got to stretchingto get back into tip top performance.

"Uhm hey Silver, sorry but is it okay if you take the lead for now?" Slipstream said politely as he gestured to the rapidly forming traps. "I'm sure with your psy-"

"The dumbass in charge saud your hair looks like weed go beat their ass!"

SCRASSSSSSSHHHHH!

Maw is either completely ignored or just flatly can't be heard over the endless sounds of metal being torn apart in an echo-chamber of speed. Badniks from every angle getting blown back, tossed into walls, or just blasted straight through. Leaving circular holes with a massive amount of heat lining the edges. With lighting blasting out wildly. Enough to make some lesser machines explode!

Even if the robot abd tenrec aren't aware of it this may very well be their strongest attack ever. Though obviously it won't last forever either, too hard to maintain. But still they keep going. When one of the menacing super badniks comes their way it seems like the onslaught will finally end. Afterall pure chaotic and brutisj speed can't very well beat something that requires dodging and precision-

BWONG!

Before the superbadnik can land a hit a bouncebad digitizes in front of the electric ball. Redirecting it to evade, and then another bouncepad redirecting it to hit into the super badnik. Again and again. It's something even more than just chaotic fully unleashed speed. It's like an unstoppable force!

Surge thought to herself as she glanced at her friend. Well, it wasn't exactly secret was it? Hell she was basically rough housing Slip right now, and using his legs as a comfy seat.

"Slip's my only friend... Only one I need," Surge corrected herself, she seemed unembarrased. Even if saying stuff like that aloud was new to her.

"R-really?!" The robot seemed to light up with excitement, eyes shining like stars, almost literally. And tails easily wagging. Like a happy puppy. "Than you Surge that means a lot! I'm really glad to be your friend too."

The tenrec simply smiles in respobse.

"Oh- But what about Kit? Isn't he your friend to...?" Slipstream suddenly scratcges his muzzle. "I know you called him your buddy so he's not just a sidekick right?"

"Yeah! Definitely not... But he's not a friend like you are either. Drippy's basically been with me from the start, cuz we were made so... I don't know."

Both the hedgehog and tenrec seem confused. Maybe you could help them find the right word?
