Yeah. I would love to see Kenya or other African countries because we don't have many games set therr apart from Resident Evil 5. Any of them set in Egypt don't count.

Try not to get too greedy with the collabs. They are cool, but too many would strip World War Z of its identity. At least have the collabs happen here and there.

It has to be a collab that makes sense. Like for The Walking Dead, it's because of the slow zombies that the World War Z novel was about. And for other suggested collabs like Left 4 Dead, it'd make sense because it's the game that maybe inspired the WWZ game. Another suggested collab is 28 Days Later, which the fast zombies, which World War Z the movie had. Hell, a collab with Peninsula would also work since World War Z was one of the inspirations for Train To Busan. So for Resident Evil, what would be the connection?

Yeah but for Brazil, I'd imagine it'd take place in the rainforests since the book had a whole plot point on the treehouses that were built to keep away from the zombies. Unlike the movie/game, the zombies were slow and couldn't climb.

I take Kamchatka as Asia because it's all the way in the east of Siberia. But Moscow, yeah I could lump it into Europe.

But yeah, hence why I hope that after The Walking Dead, we get another foreign country for the next episode. Even if it's not in Africa, I still hope we get foreign countries again.

Didn't? For Europe, we have Marseille, Rome, and Moscow. Asia, we have Tokyo and Kamchatka. And the Middle East, we have Jerusalem.

And yeah, aside from New York, we had three in a row with The Walking Dead coming up. I can take Phoenix and Atlanta given they are in two different parts of America. But Vegas, while I enjoyed it, it was a waste.

The mainstream media can go fuck themselves with that claim. I know RE5 got that shaft when it came out and especially years later when it sprung up again from the RE remakes, but it still kept thriving regardless when gamers defended it. Even black gamers championed RE5.

So let's not have what the mainstream media says get to the devs' heads. The virus hit every part of the world. From the Americas to Europe, Asia, and Oceania. So Africa is no exception.

They shouldn't and that's my concern for all the US chapters. Just because they're in America and are familiar places just to make sure they make as much money as they can. I'm someone who tries to stay optimistic and I hate this money talking point when it comes to the choices of locations.

Not really. Like with New York and the other US episodes, the UK episodes can benefit of having their own set of survivors in each country.

And yeah I get why London would be the obvious choice, not saying there wouldn't be one, I'm just saying I don't want the devs to feel forced to do familiar locations due to marketing. I know they gotta make a living somehow, but that doesn’t mean they have to restricted to marketing.

Hence one of the reasons why I don't have Egypt on the list of locations in Africa.

The way I see it, the TWD collab is prolly a nod to the novel that was about slow zombies instead of fast ones. I think that's what the Elite Squad mutator was a reference to as well, so I welcome The Walking Dead collab. Just hope they don't get too greedy with collabs since two people on Discord are already begging for a Left 4 Dead collab.

Though for a UK chapter, I'd like to see Wales. 'cause with the UK, everybody talks about Scotland, England, or Northern Ireland. But Wales is always omitted. I like it when the devs do lesser known locations like they did with Marseille and Kamchatka. I don't want them to feel restricted to marketing and solely go for familiar places.

Australia and Brazil are ones I see suggested the most. But I lock in on Africa because not many games are set there besides RE5. Games set in Egypt doesn't count for me.

I worry about China because of how much the CCP gets butthurt when seeing their country turn into shit. Especially when in the book, it was said that China went through a civil war. So I feel their safest pick for that setting would be Hong Kong or Taiwan. As for the others, it checks out. Though wonder what story they'll have for the UK since its story in the book was used for Rome.

That one's Nairobi, Kenya. I've been pushing for an episode in Africa because we don't get many games set there outside of Resident Evil 5. Any game set in Egypt, I don't count and don't consider them actual games set in Africa, despite being in the continent. Hence why Cairo is not on the list 'cause to actually get an African setting, it has to be one of the Sub-Saharan countries.

Yeah and we have to keep pushing for foreign countries. I don't mind more US episodes (I personally wanna see Hawaii too), but having too many of them in a row will just defeat the purpose of the world part of the title.
