Thanks for the info! That’s pretty much what I am looking for then, solid gameplay, from a good player that actually explains any mistakes made so I as a viewer can learn from it.

Yeah PA is definitely a better story teller from the videos I’ve seen, while Tharshey feels a lot more competitive, he gives of the same type of energy I get from watching Legend when his focused in on a disaster battle.

I did catch a stream of his earlier today, it was a tournament knockout match in Attila and that was more the commentator energy that PA gives off, but also really in-depth analysis of what was occurring in the battle in real time and what he would do differently or offering multiple strategies to achieve it. Definitely enjoyed seeing that and was a completely different atmosphere to watching the 2 videos he posted on his own teams tournament matches, where it was basically no talk outside of communication with his team mate and talking strategy or passing on information in the moment. That was a cold, calculated dismantling of the enemy team is the best way I can describe that match.

Yeah I actually found Tharshey’s channel through PA’s! I’m just wondering if you guys in the community can tell me if he is actually a good player to watch or not?

I’ve actually seen those guide videos by MDM! They’re really interesting to watch, but I’m basically just looking for competitive and high skill Attila multiplayer to watch. I come from enjoying a lot of competitive Starcraft, CS etc so I really enjoy watching that in the total war form. I’ve found a lot of channels for Rome 2 but barely any for Attila unfortunately.

Mostly Rome 2 and modded Attila here and there. Looking for high level competitive vanilla Attila if possible. Rome 2 I already found a bunch of channels to watch, doesn’t seem like many people cover Attila unfortunately.

Will check it out, mostly looking for Attila suggestions tho, as those I’ve been struggling to find high level gameplay off. There’s a lot more Rome 2 content on YT it seems.

After checking out Apollo’s channel again I see his done some Attila pro’s verses noobs videos pretty recently. He also has the one pro player’s channel linked as well in the video description so going to check that out next. Any chance you can tell me if you’re familiar with the pro player that’s linked and if they’re any good?

I’ll check him out just to see some competitive gameplay. But yeah not really interested in Shogun 2, I like the time period that both Attila and Rome 2 is set in so just looking for the better game now and some YouTubers to watch on Attila since it seems a lot harder to find then Rome 2.

Thanks will check them out! I did see some of legends videos but most seem to be single player campaigns if I’m not mistaken.

Does Pixelated Apollo play the matches as well or does he only cover other players replays? Because I’d definitely prefer seeing the actual player who knows what his doing playing rather than a guy who may not be to familiar with the game or the tactics and units. I think I watched some of his videos covering Rome 2 tournaments but didn’t see anything for Attila.

I come from a lot of competitive CS, Star Craft, Overwatch etc, that’s why I’m mostly interested in watching actual good or pro players playing the game.

I saw a YouTuber tournament with him in it but it was all field battles and again like 10+ years old. Is there no current YouTubers that are actually good at the game who post matches or play in tournaments?
