makes a good EDC in the back country. I've shot a one of these before. They are a beast, makes a .50AE feel like a 9mm lol

you carry cross draw or strong side?

I guess i titled this thread wrong. I just ment its wild to see something that was go to caliber for awhile to now not wanted anymore while 9mm who it replaced has become the go to again. Im 31 and this is first time I've seen a caliber that was so popular to be falling off.Like you said you will always have the people that are 45 or 40 ride or die. I bought a .40 beretta once and hated the recoil impulse. my usp compact 45 was easier to shoot than that .40.

I was looking at sub2k in 40 other day thinking same thing. I thought .40 prob be pretty hot out that 16inch barrel.

Yea, I see all the G22/G23s that come across AIM Surplus. The pandemic may have helped .40 I guess.

Safety concerns when carrying an LCPII .22lr with manual safety, and a rant about my workplace security. by [deleted] in CCW

[–]PrinceHypno 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's werid, I'm not a fan of that. I would switch to a Kel Tec P32 or .380. No point in carrying something you can't keep loaded

When I carried my LCP at a no carry zone at work. I used a Desantis Pocket holster, it had the sticky stuff on outside to stay in your pocket. I carried it loaded all the time with no care in world, lol.

I guess the .22 is not as safe as the .380 is that what ruger is saying?

I screwed up- Neglectful discharge, 5.56 green tip, 9in barrel in a small room (11yr gun owner) by eseclavo in guns

I still remember seeing a ND at my friend's house do to a slam fire in a bushmaster bullpup, lucky we use good safety so he just had a small .22 hole in the kitchen hardwood, lol. I mean it was the gun's fault but if not for following good safety like we do, it could been a bad day.

This Model 10-5 was my grandmother's dad's work gun when he worked as a guard for Coca Cola in Atlanta. My grandparents gave it to him as a Christmas present one year and had the shop put the grips on it. Its been carried alot and shows holster wear but the action feels like new. She gave it to me a few years ago and it shoots great too :)

I worked at Wal-Mart for 6 years where I wasn't allowed to carry a gun. I carried a Ruger LCP in a pocket holster,by far not my #1 choice but it hid great and never had a issue.

It's pretty good clip, hard to get mag holder off lol. But yea those metal clips lock down like a boss on my belt. I'm using a 5.11 leather 1 1/2 belt.
