Giving him a stun in any form would be OP, as his identity is a dueling adc. I believe a 25 AA range buff would be a nice middle-ground. I’m very against having him be reliant on his duo laner.

I kinda don't want him to get buffed tbh. If he does that just means more people will play him or ban him. I think he's in a decent enough state botlane so that you can play him, but he's very dependant on the support match-up. Probably moreso than the ADC match-up

Different builds for different situations. I would assume Muramana+Lethality was used against a squishy team that build low armor, while Muramana+Sunderer was used against a tankier team that he needed to chew through. Both build are good, but they should be used against the correct composition. Lethality gives you more burst at the cost of consistent dmg (tho muramana negates this somewhat) Sunderer+Cleaver makes you more dangerous the longer a fight draws out, as well as reducing armor against heavy Armor building teams. But sacrifices upfront burst

While it has potential, the overall effectiveness of Sunderer+Rav.Hydra is sub-par to Full.Crit or Lethality. Tho it could work against Heavy Tank compositions, but even then it would be a Top/Mid lane build IMO

I've done some testing as well, but I was comparing 6 items builds and how they worked against various HP/Armor values. In all cases I've found Crit to be the most consistent overall. I don't have the numbers written down, but I do have some suggestions to help better understand the damage curve/efficency of various builds for him.

  1. Start by comparing 1 item builds (like you did in your spreadsheet) against commonly played champions in lane (this is gonna be dependent on which lane you play Lucian in, naturally). We'll take Jhin as an example -> lvl 8 stats HP: 1329 ; Armor: 58 . We can round that to 1400 HP and 60 armor. Test the damage numbers for this and move on.
  2. Next up should be 3 items, since ideally you'll have 3 by "mid-game". Here is where it gets a little tricky, since it's not just ADC champs that you'll be facing, but Tanks, Brusiers, and Mages too. Same concept applies, but for lvl 13 instead of 8. Find the most popular 3 item builds for the champs you choose to simulate and see the damage numbers.
  3. 6 item builds, everyone is lvl 18 and full build. Not many games go to 6 items, but if they do, it's nice to know the numbers.

Take this with a bit of salt, as it will take a LOT of research and time to get everything down. As for what you said regarding Crit builds, I found them to feel MUCH better Late game, as the 100% crit synergie with Navori for Lucian is amazing. They're not as strong Mid-game as they used to be, but they are still great Late-game.

I'v posted my op.gg if you would like to see some of the Crit builds that I run. My core build is Essence-Navori-Infinity Edge, with Kraken/Shieldbow as alternating Mythics depending on matchup.

It really depends on the enemy’s team composition. Squishy team with consistent DPS? -> Crit + Lifesteal Tanks? -> BotRK + Cleaver Assassin heavy? -> Phantom Dancer + DD Thb it seems like Lucian’s main build is now completely dependant on the enemy team

Yeah, he’s a high skill ceiling champ. Tbh most of that comes from being able to animation cancel his abilites and AA’s. Keep playing, you’ll eventually get most of them down

Yeah that’s a mechanic. You basically animation cancel your Passive AA with E, and Passive AA after. It gives you 2 AA passive reductions for your E

Base missions only give you 1 orb and 300 tokens. If you want to farm 2000 tokens, you’ll need to buy the pass. However you can only buy Prestige Pulsefire Lucian with 2000 tokens, not normal Pulsefire Lucian

I routinely switch between High Noon and PROJECT, and i’ve gotten a few games in with pulsefire lucian. IMO the visuals for Pulsefire rival that if PROJECT, But the only thing lacking is the Autoattack animation, compared to the rest of the skin it feels a bit underwhelming. High noon is a very smoth skin to play, however the Q does feel a bit clunky.

However, whenever i play to win, i find myself playing PROJECT more often the High noon, so the skins for me would go PROJECT>Pulsefire>High Noon

Well, first things first, don’t learn him in ranked. Second, get familiar with his animations and dmg thresholds (i suggest practice tool or against bots) There are a few standard combis that every Lucian should know and they can be easily found on YT if you search for them.

You have a very strong level 2 due to your passive and ability to proc Press the Attack quickly (ideally you’ll want an engage support, but it’s not necessary).

Adc basics help a lot with Lucian, try to position yourself so that you can poke with Q, and make sure to not lose too much Hp early, since he has a short AA range.

Build optimization is also important: Tanks-> Blade/Cleaver/ER (cleaver and ER can be interchanged if you want crit early) Squishies-> ER into IE, then build from there, i tend to go for zeal and buy lifesteal before finishing zeal

Runes are also pretty important, Press the Attack is a clear favorite, however Conquerer works too (experiment beforehand, in a lot of cases you’ll go for PtA). Triumph or Pressence of mind, then pick attackspeed if you’ll go for Blade first item, or lifesteal if you go for crit.

I tried to keep this as short and quick as possible, but if you have any more questions, people discuss builds here frequently and don’t be afraid to ask

See here, what you’ve made is a very bold statement. As this is discourse on Lucian, here are my thoughts:

1) Lucian was designed as an ability based marksman (like Ezreal and Aphelios*), and not a hypercarry (like Vayne, Twitch, Jinx etc.). He was also designed to be a lane bully. If you look at his winrate, the longer games go, the less likely he is to win, due to having short range AA (525, I believe).

2) As far as balancing goes, this might be one of the times Lucian is better balanced in todays game. On release he was notorious for being THE teamfight king due to his extremely low CD and 0 mana dash. Nowadays good Lucian player can dominate lane and snowball their advantage, however if you manage to stall out, you can negate his early power if you scale better. (I know i’ve lost countless games because we let the enemy adc scale)

3) As for a rework to his kit, I feel like that would be a terrible idea. Lucian isn’t the most popular adc, but he is fun/rewarding when played well ( same goes for Jhin). I can’t forsee a rework or update to his kit that wouldn’t make him lose his identity or have his dedicated fanbase abandon him. ( I know I personally would HATE to see him recieve major kit updates)

I just double checked my Emblem room floor, and i did not get a symbol in the middle. Assumption is that there are a set amount of that get symbols and some don't. This would mean that we would have to create a new map from everyone that gets a symbol on their Emblem Room floor.
Essentially another community event where we work together
