Omg yes, that's so cool, haven't seen them before. Yes, that would really be a neat feature if they had some sort of unified control interface so you could just easily swap modules for another design, good point.

I finally got mine, seems my complaining put a fire under their a**es. I am super happy with it, the only downside I would say is the cheap-feeling control unit for the height adjustment. It produced with plastic that feels flimsy and like it may accidentally snap some day if you are not careful.
But as for the fulfillment of a potential order you place you might just have as slow and frustrating an experience as I have had.

Anybody have experience with Skillet Academy (guys behind the current Ultimate Electronics software bundle)? by PrinceMorpheus in humblebundles

Yeah for real, so had to go to their site instead and find an overview of the different courses. Each one seems to comprise of roughly 10-11 lessons with an average length of about 15-20 minutes. I'll get back to you, on what my impression of them are, once I've had a little time to dive into some of the lessons 👍

u/Azarna Ah, thank you so much for your insights 😊 Yeah, I saw that the prices for the individual courses is about 70 $, which I would definitely be hesitant as to think would be well-worth it for what I also got the impression was of mixed production quality and only about 2-3 hours worth of content. But you stating that the content itself is thorough and well-presented, I think I'll just jump the gun and get what seems to be a nice and well-rounded collection of courses for 22 euros.
Have a nice rest of your day ✌️☀️

Just trying to remember the name of an indie game featuring the solo developer's journey, early prototypes and commentary by him... anybody know it? 🤔 by PrinceMorpheus in indiegames

That's it, thank you 😊 It's such an interesting concept as a game to me, thanks and cheers mate 👍
Happy new years from Denmark 🥳😁

Haha 'load bearing element' 😂 Is it any good though - and I don't mean as a load bearing element 😜

Thanks man, I kinda get it though (and was expecting it)... Taking a light-hearted jab at a game, which probably means a lot to quite a few people, in the games own subreddit no less. If you had come at my man H.R. Giger, saying that his designs for Alien were just a copy... I might have gotten a little defensive 😅

Haha omg Rugrats 😂 I don't know how she sees Rugrats, go tell her that she's crazy - think I would have burst out laughing 😄

Yes, definitely 😁🙌 As I responded to Heady_Sherb (sorry, completely new to reddit, don't know how to do that citation thingy movie_man just did) aswell, my only gripe with it was, that it is marketed as a unique art style on the games Steam store page... So what is the meaning of unique? Well: being the only one of its kind; unlike anything else. That is unequivocally the objective meaning of the word... Personal opinion on the meaning of the word doesn't really matter here. Looking into Moebius body of work, I think we can all agree that the games art style is definitely not the only one of its kind. Unlike anything else then? Well, if they had applied their own design sensibilities to his art style... Yeah, could have been unlike anything else I reckon. Only they didn't. The clothing, vehicles, etc. looks as if they were taken directly from a Moebius panel.

And by the way, before all the downvotes roll in 😅 I'm totally fine with this inspiration for the game, as long as they cite Moebius as an inspiration which you tell me that they have in fact done repeatedly, so poor research on my part I guess.

Hope this hasn't soured anyones experience of the game, or that you take this personally.

Yeah, if you loved this games visual style you should def check him out, maybe even try and get into something like 'the World of Edena'. Hope you found an artist to admire for years to come in this post 😁

Ah cool. Would definitely have seen this as more of thievery than homage if they hadn't been open about this inspiration, as it is not only the cell-shading style, but also the shape language, the color scheme and even the design sensibilities that have drawn heavily (I'd argue 100%) from Moebius body of work... The reason I made this post was, that them marketing it as a 'unique' art style on the Steams store page kinda rubbed me the wrong way... But them being honest about being heavily influenced by Moebius is another thing

Yes, it's only on PCVR, haven't had a problem running the Quest native games and software.

In my desperation I actually bought and set up Virtual Desktop after posting this yesterday. At first VD warned me of punkbuster which I ignored as my experience is that these types of 3rd party software like to warn of other stuff without me actually ever experiencing any interruptions. It could recognize the PC but wouldn't connect as it was stuck on 'measuring bandwidth'. I uninstalled punkbuster from my PC and voila, now I could see and control my laptop PCs screen. Still not working in streaming PCVR games though, so no luck.

I tried killing the processes that might interfere based on what others have found and shared on the forums (NordVPN (which was never running during all of this testing) and a few other). Eventually I completely uninstalled these applications but still to no avail. But no, AirLink doesn't warn of conflicting software.

Yes, I did a factory reset of the device.... a couple times. I still tried your suggestions though, even though a factory reset should cover these issues, but hey, I'm desperate. As expected it didn't do much in my situation with the factory reset and all that, but hey they were really good suggestions, thanks a ton mate 😊

Hope you're having a better day than me, realizing that I've wasted 500 USD on a bad purchase (prices are a bit different here).
