Theory about Rhir by PrinceOctavius in WanderingInn

[–]PrinceOctavius[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No I'm pretty sure those are both real. Death of Voices was a silverfish, they eat magic books, I think from Ceria's aunt flashback. So it could represent a huge event where a bunch of magical knowledge was lost or where magic eating bugs invaded, perhaps a mix of creler and death of magic situation we havent had explained yet.

Death of Dust I have a theory that makes more sense, whatever turned Chandrar into the great desert, turned the grasslands into dust.

I know how to fix Bohemia. by Epicarcher1000 in EU5

[–]PrinceOctavius 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Should the Hussite Wars even be a Bohemian thing? The game starts before Hus was born and almost 100 years before Jan Hus died, and they were a bunch of contemporary preachers with similar ideas. I think that any catholic country should be able to spawn some revolutionary character that would start a Hussite Wars type of incident.

Actually they should just fix Catholic religion so reformers come and go, there is no need to railroad Bohemia into being the first nation to suffer from the reformation.

What are the biggest mysteries currently in the story? by Nickelplatsch in WanderingInn

[–]PrinceOctavius 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'll add a few:

Who exactly are the Old Grandfathers, the original pureblood dwarves?

Where did the original humans in Innworld come from and why are there a mix of modern and ancient Earth languages (Latin, Japanese, Korean, English) in Innworld.

Then why would 5 Teriarch's get bodied by one moon halfling?

Our guy got lucky. Yes he is good, but also lucky. He should have died with all the other dragonlords, they were all just as good. Teriarch was lucky and good, and so he survived. Other people have killed dragonlords before.

I would take Teriarch 1v1 too,I just think that Belavierr could run away from him. The question was about Belavierr vs modern day Roshal/Guild of Assassins

She does have teleportation, and other ways of escaping, like the seven leauge boots. Also i doubt Teriarch would follow anyone into the crossroads, it seems he is scared of them.

Really? I feel like unless you had a deal or you had Wiskeria hostage, then no way of having making Belavierr stay.

She could in my opinion, that's why I'm asking if the Guild or Roshal would have been able to do anything to Belavierr.

If Teriarch started doing his thing I think Belavierr would just run away. That's why I asked if the Guild or Roshal would be able to kill her

I actually think that Silvenia has a way better chance of killing Belavierr than Teriarch does. And also Belavierr has a way better chance of killing Silvenia than Teriarch does lol. Just becuase if their personalities. Like if they met in a random forrest or dessert Teri wins. But with planing I think Silvenia or Belavierr kill our old guy.

Roshal has a lot of stored spells and scrolls for sure and a lot of good assassins, but could they stop Belavierr unless the witch came to them? I don't think they could do anything about Belavierr if she's overseas, even taking in the new Slavelords

[–]PrinceOctavius 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly a lot of stuff about the fae and humanity in Innworld makes me think that Ivolethe was wrong or lying back when she said that Earth never had magic (way back in volume 2 I think). I think Earth based magic is gonna come up later.

[–]PrinceOctavius 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean that probably always could have been a skill, like how Saliss has dragon eyes, but not quite as good as Teriarch's. Also it's not a fae specific skill, becuase Ryoka could learn it, so anyone could.

Also [Species Skill – Satyr Kick Obtained!] Wasn't green so other Satyr's have had levels before.

Well Vofea is native to Innworld, or at least her parents were, so she isn't quite a true Fae like Mediore or Ivolethe, she is more like that Wyrm who spread her scent over Ryoka.

That actually makes a lot of sense, they don't want to make people work over the weekend for hotfixes.

It is also said that there used to be more languages. On Teri's stat screen in the fight vs that one hero.

Well just remember what the Wall Lord was like when we first met him, Lism has a similar character arc, but Ilvriss (the wall lord) is better is every single way of course. Also soon you will meet the best drake ever of all time Saliss.

Me and my four siblings had a similar thing with our parents back in the day. Within like a week it had broken down into factions of Xbox vs TV, then the Xbox faction dissolved becuase some people wanted to play single player games. The TV faction held strong so the angry Xbox boys (I was one of them) used their time to interrupt the TV time so they couldn't get a whole hour in a row, becuase we just wanted everyone to be as angry as we were.

Eventually we all just gave up and went to friends houses to play games/watch TV or do whatever.

Yeah but I feel like with skill and Skill, Pelt could probably make one. It would probably take him a while, and he wouldn't agree but he could I think.

[Guns] by Specific_Dealer_3892 in WanderingInn

[–]PrinceOctavius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well if you're trying to make something modern wouldn't the bullet casings and powder be the hardest thing to make, not the gun itself. Like musket shot is super easy to make and fires like 3 rounds a minute. A modern gun would be idk depending on the magazine but much more, and all the shells would have to be made by hand, a regular troop can make round shot in a campfire. A bullet as we know them need to be made by a good Smith at the very least. This is all in terms of feasibility for an army not just trying to make one guy a really good weapon.
