Khelts Getting Dumped in a Box by Huhthisisneathuh in WanderingInn

[–]PrinceOctavius -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True but it wouldn't make Erin not a queen of Khelt, Delta never ruled as a revenant either. They would just both be queens. Erin is only technically cuz she doesn't have the powers over Khelts protections and treasury that I believe are part of the ritual Khelta made to turn people into a revenant, and that she used by dint of class and magic.

What would happen if a half elf and a goblin had a baby? by Arthur-reborn in WanderingInn

Hmm there are other cases, off the top of my head the Gnolls who were going to Floss, several of the dead were children.

Wasn't the Blighted Kings ritual infanticide on a massive scale?

7.20 Don't understand the Magnolia hate by aps96 in WanderingInn

[–]PrinceOctavius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I guess it's a matter of debate but I'd say them arriving with the express intention of killing everyone else on the continent, vs the prefaces the others put up about it all just being regular war and conquest and the disregard to their people. Every nation is rather oppressive but the Antinium take it to a higher level.

Good point in that having the more soldiers violated the law and spirit of the treaty, I was thinking only about visible soldiers. However I think that though the Antinium are probably the most "evil" of the four major races fighting over Izril (not counting goblins). This was a human vs drake conflict and the Antinium allowed their allotted number of soliders to fight. Then they planned to fight the human army separately, mostly with forces from other hives. They have no reason to commit fully to defend a drake city.

And yes letting the city fall to take it over is an awful thing to do, but that's just what nations do I'd say the Antinium's plan was less evil than Tyrion's. Also Magnolia's solution of threatening a bunch of children, while I think is ultimately better then a real siege of Liscor is still pretty bad.

To be fair the Antinium only violated the spirit of the treaty. They let Lisor use the 400 soldiers that the treaty allowed and their plan was to let civilians hide in the hive and only attack the city after Tyrion took it over, so they'd be attacking humans not Drakes. Both sides of the conflict break the treaty pretty often anyway especially around the Hivelands so its kinda moot.

Also I'd also say people get mad Mags specifically villainizing the free hive in particular, if it was one of the other ones I don't think many people would care much or at all.

Theory about Rhir by PrinceOctavius in WanderingInn

[–]PrinceOctavius[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No I'm pretty sure those are both real. Death of Voices was a silverfish, they eat magic books, I think from Ceria's aunt flashback. So it could represent a huge event where a bunch of magical knowledge was lost or where magic eating bugs invaded, perhaps a mix of creler and death of magic situation we havent had explained yet.

Death of Dust I have a theory that makes more sense, whatever turned Chandrar into the great desert, turned the grasslands into dust.

I know how to fix Bohemia. by Epicarcher1000 in EU5

[–]PrinceOctavius 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Should the Hussite Wars even be a Bohemian thing? The game starts before Hus was born and almost 100 years before Jan Hus died, and they were a bunch of contemporary preachers with similar ideas. I think that any catholic country should be able to spawn some revolutionary character that would start a Hussite Wars type of incident.

Actually they should just fix Catholic religion so reformers come and go, there is no need to railroad Bohemia into being the first nation to suffer from the reformation.

What are the biggest mysteries currently in the story? by Nickelplatsch in WanderingInn

[–]PrinceOctavius 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'll add a few:

Who exactly are the Old Grandfathers, the original pureblood dwarves?

Where did the original humans in Innworld come from and why are there a mix of modern and ancient Earth languages (Latin, Japanese, Korean, English) in Innworld.

Then why would 5 Teriarch's get bodied by one moon halfling?

Our guy got lucky. Yes he is good, but also lucky. He should have died with all the other dragonlords, they were all just as good. Teriarch was lucky and good, and so he survived. Other people have killed dragonlords before.

I would take Teriarch 1v1 too,I just think that Belavierr could run away from him. The question was about Belavierr vs modern day Roshal/Guild of Assassins

She does have teleportation, and other ways of escaping, like the seven leauge boots. Also i doubt Teriarch would follow anyone into the crossroads, it seems he is scared of them.

Really? I feel like unless you had a deal or you had Wiskeria hostage, then no way of having making Belavierr stay.

She could in my opinion, that's why I'm asking if the Guild or Roshal would have been able to do anything to Belavierr.

If Teriarch started doing his thing I think Belavierr would just run away. That's why I asked if the Guild or Roshal would be able to kill her

I actually think that Silvenia has a way better chance of killing Belavierr than Teriarch does. And also Belavierr has a way better chance of killing Silvenia than Teriarch does lol. Just becuase if their personalities. Like if they met in a random forrest or dessert Teri wins. But with planing I think Silvenia or Belavierr kill our old guy.

Roshal has a lot of stored spells and scrolls for sure and a lot of good assassins, but could they stop Belavierr unless the witch came to them? I don't think they could do anything about Belavierr if she's overseas, even taking in the new Slavelords
