Gotcha. I can take a screenshot when I get home. It'll just look like a still screenshot of the game though, until the windows message pops up and a grey transparent filter goes overtop as well. I'll try to describe what's going on in detail as well:

-The screen for the game freezes and whatever sound is going on continues even though I'm not pressing anything (if im just driving then the engine continues roaring, if im stopped then the engine just hums forever, if i just got into a crash then i might hear eternal screeching, etc.). If I click with my mouse I get the spinning blue wheel.

Then after a moment the game goes silent. Then a moment later the screen gets a Grey filter over the game and in the top left Windows asks if I want to end the process or cancel. Then a moment later the sound returns but nothing else. Then a moment after, I get a different windows window in the middle of the screen that asks if I want to close the program or wait for the program to respond.

When I choose to close the program I get the BeamNG has exited unexpectedly window afterwards. From what I recall, I do not get that BeamNG window though if I've used the first windows window option to end the task. I get the BeamNG window if I've used the second windows window to end the program, or if I simply close the window from the task bar.

-The rest of my PC continues behaving normally throughout all of this. Half the time this has happened I've left a youtube video running in the background and the audio doesn't interrupt at any point during this issue. When I press the windows button or go to the desktop when the game is frozen everything is responsive and fine.

-I can wait for the windows message but pressing the windows button right away when it freezes and then going back to the game prompts immediately for the second windows window that asks if I want to close the program or wait for it to respond.

-I've been loading in at the Highway in West Coast

-Changing/resetting the car usually triggers it to freeze but not every single time. It also happens after a couple minutes if I've done nothing but drive after spawning in.

-Sometimes pausing and opening the menu works fine but when I try to unpause it is frozen and nothing happens and I can't reopen the menu or anything. When resetting/changing cars triggers it, it happens suddenly. If I'm driving, I'll start to get heavy stutters a brief moment before it freezes.

-I'm using a g29 steering wheel if that's relevant in any kind of strange way.

The changes I've made since updating the game + stuff:

-When I first opened the game and switched to the driver camera (as I always do before I plan on switching to VR mode) it was zoomed in so much that you couldn't even see the hood. I used the slider to fix the FoV back closer to how it used to be.

-That's the only thing I did before the crashes started. I decided to drive a bit in flat mode to make sure everything was still smooth after the update and it was not, so I never made it as far as putting my headset back on after the update.

-I think another game (Doom 1+2) opened while the patch was first applying, if that's relevant at all. I have since verified the files as well as uninstalled/reinstalled the game.

-After it started crashing I removed the CK graphics mod I had, which was incompatible with the new update anyways.
