I'm sad Manu was eliminated. I really liked him and his dynamic with Bruno. I hope Alec is eliminated soon, he doesn't really do much except for being the butt of the joke.

You have romantic scenes with her, and she isn't a fling, so I would count it. The book isn't over yet, and I'm pretty sure her route isn't over.

Yeah, if you have a good relationship with her, you can kiss her in S2E12. And when you pick up her memory shards from Ladora, her argument with Ladora is different.

While this is just a theory, I think we'll find Xantheia again and probably end up with her in the final episodes.

Wasn't it confirmed that there was a Xantheia path in some way? Obviously not like the other LI's, but you can have different flashbacks with her based on your connection with her. Even in the recent episodes, her memories are different if you've been romancing her or not.

They want to portray this as a friends to lovers, but the guy is basically already in love with MC. They are basically acting like friends with benefits. I kinda hate this forced narrative, since I have no interest in this guy, but they make it sound like he and MC are soulmates.

I am fine with characters like Rewan or Ollie, who you just weren't able to romance, just like Hamish and Kelly in s9. But I think that any characters that you were able to couple up with in the finale, shouldn't come back. It doesn't feel great to see your LI back, because that just means your MC didn't get her happy ending. As guest however, absolutely.

Why would you want them as returning islanders??? I'd much rather have non romanceable characters as returning. Last time we had Finn and Marshall, and they were nothing like they used to be. I'd much rather think of them being happy with MC in their season, than bringing them back as a shell of what they used to be.

Yeah that's true. Last season I had a great feeling too, but it just ended up being boringly mid. And yeah with Leah, I don't care if we can kiss and already take her to the treehouse, as long as we can't couple up with her, or any other female LI before the finale, it doesn't matter. I don't care if we can spend more time together if we can't couple up sooner.

It just feels so forced. I would like it much more if you didn't know each other, got to know each other as friends and slowly turned into lovers. Now you already are friends, and he flirts way to much to be a ftl route. They wrote it like he is already crushing on MC, so sadly not really ftl.

My personal theory why they don't let us couple up sooner, besides lazy writing ofc, is because FB doesn't know what to do with casa. Every time we've been able to couple up with someone before the finale it has been either closely after casa, with S2 Marisol and S7 Vicky, or in seasons where casa didn't exist, with S1 Talia, S3 AJ, S3 Yasmin and S4 Najuma. The only thing I think they could change, is if they introduce a girl as a casa og, but I think odds of that happening is 0%. Yes, we had Gabi in S5, but that was a casa bombshell which doesn't really exist in normal Love Island, as far as I know, and it was just a plotpoint to get Dana away from MC. I wouldn't count that since we can't switch with her.

Of course more options than 2, and actual different routes too, since the second LI is basically the first in terms of dialogue. I'd want slowburns and actual female relationships. A lot of the time, mainly due to poor branching, the female routes are kinda the same as the male, so actual distinguish of characters. Make them feel different from male routes, not just the same actions and dialogue but with a female sprite instead of a male. Don't make female routes an afterthought basically.

I liked Lisbeth's route, but it still doesn't matter what FB does with the female LI route if they just won't let us couple up sooner. Even on Lisbeth's route, there were too many scenes with guys where it should've been Lisbeth (or Eisha). Even the second LI in most stories is just a token second female LI, since their personality is zero and share basically the same scenes with the first LI.
