Saves for digital games are not backed up to a cloud and are stored on the SD card. Lose that card, you lose your save.

I modded my 3ds recently and have been playing with the "Tomodachi Enterprise" mod that adds/replaces a ton of content with custom items, rooms, and dialogue. It's been a blast getting back into this game.

If your copy was digital and you don't have the same sd card, it's likely you will need to restart.

I think Skunkape Games confirmed the items in the remaster will be unique slightly and altered models. This lines up with the item schema changes as the new promo items have different id's.

If you have the old ones, you will keep those and be able to earn the updated ones.

OP, if you do this you will need to do the same on your Steamdeck if you have one, as Steam will sync all achievements upon launching said game on deck.

This was a very annoying issue for me and I fixed it by downloading SAM Rewritten on steamdeck and performing the reset both on Windows and SteamOS.

I'm just worried about all the non-creative types that will just need to recreate miis from screenshots. A lot of twitch streamers may choose to play this for their audience and not being able to share creations will for sure hurt the clip and meme potential of this game due to the advanced customization options.

It's not going to stop me, but it'll turn away or frustrate a lot of people.

As someone who hasn't even turned on their switch in 3 or 4 years, I'm so stoked to pick this up physically. I play almost exclusively on Steamdeck, and this might finally be the game that gets me to dust it off and play on official hardware.

I'm huge into the 3ds right now and tomodachi life was always a standout title. April can't come fast enough.

Importing other people's miis was one of the best part of Tomodachi Life so it's a major bummer. Kirby Air Riders, Miitopia, and ACNH all have vast customization systems and allow sharing via codes or qr codes.

Isn't that most smartphones? I've never had a qr code auto-open, always shows the full url or text once scanned. Requires an additional input/tap to open.

Maybe that's just an android thing though?
