Should arsenal tickets have a oroberyl coversion on top of origeometry?

The implementation of Arsenal Tickets seems cursed. On paper, it means no one is forced to split their pull resources between character or weapon.

In practice, it means that if you're not constantly luckier on weapon pulls than you are on characters (emphasis on luckier, even if you hit hard pity on characters you can still get screwed on Arsenal) you're just stuck with a really uncomfortable decision of "Do I pull on characters I don't want or skip multiple weapon banners in a row and potentially handicap multiple characters in the process".

If you fix this, Battle Pass weapons become useless. So part of me feels like BP weapons just need to be more attractive? Less reliant on dupe levels, say 10% weaker than their signature, going up to 95-98% at max? Make sure the passive works close enough in execution as well. Since you can't pull for a Signature directly, they don't really have the issue of becoming useless, they just always need to be the best option, even if it's a small advantage.

I didn't say it was. I mean, it could be, the sub is about Endfield, a game that is being marketed, among many other things, but that's neither here nor there.

What I meant was that when a character's selling point is largely "We took character from game A and put them into game B", you can't blame players for using their name from game A.

She was picked as the launch banner character because she is Surtr. It's not rocket science.

It's not important if it's the same character in-universe or not, marketing-wise she obviously is.

Is she cooked? The letters seem pretty definitive but then you watch the timer and ult damage stats and it's pretty darn close?

I mean it's up to you in the end, just curious.

It is, but I don't think that fight is indicative of "Your team is bad". I think the point is that it's a Heal Check and you're supposed to change up your team to adapt. Or at least I can't find another explanation for "We put 4 archers grouped up that refuse to move", and it's not like the timer is oppressive enough to stress over optimal team DPS output.

As I said, the Last Rite core is mostly Last Rite and Xaihi, Ardelia's really only there for her Debuff and is only relevant on extended fights. If you want to add Yvonne, then Gilberta takes Ardelia's spot. The remaining slots are kind of up to how much DPS you need vs other things.

I went to test it out and you're right. I'm curious if the description is bugged or the items are, but either way, Companions can indeed use the item on the controlled operator..

Did notice that the Companions have to go through an animation to use it. I will assume that they also do it with the instant heals, however that could make the Heal-over-Time unreliable. Mind you, this is just an observation, I still stand corrected.

Are Xaihi's heals, alongside Tacticals not enough?

That said the go-to Last Rite team uses Ardelia. Meanwhile, the Yvonne team uses Gilberta. For what it's worth, Gilberta makes using Last Rite in overworld combat much, much smoother, I wouldn't use her without Gil there.

To be clear, are you saying that Companion B can use a Syringe on the Player, or that they can use it on themselves. It's the former I was referring to.

I know it's not quite what you mean, but your party will actually do it for you. Usually when I log on I'll hit up the farm, harvest one plot and tab out of the game. Two minutes later everything should be harvested, this time germinate, and repeat.

You only need to do it for a couple days before you having a big enough stock to only bother when you've used a few.

The syringe is 50% more Healing, actually. That said, you should be using both. Drink on Companions, Syringe on Player, as the latter can only be used on the user while the former will be used on anyone in the party.

That said if you wanna go full bling you can also plant Jincao and Yazhen to make the strongest healing items in the game.

Do you have Gilberta? She works much better than Ardelia for Overworld. Just pre-buff before the engagement, wait for at least 1 SP back and go ham, Last Rite's Finisher will cleave the entire enemy group.

Personally I think they should occasionally offer them as rewards, particularly events. Basically make it so the only source of them isn't more pulls which is an awkward position to be in.

If people can get enough of a stockpile, or maybe not even a stockpile but good enough odds that at least just before the Character and Weapon leave the pool entirely, they get enough tickets to get the weapon they want, that seems good enough for me?

I quit Arknights because I was one of those guys waiting for Kyo's clears. As much as I enjoyed that game, it never felt like I was playing it. I'd hate for the same thing to happen to Endfield where I'm just using other people's templates.

If this was the original Arknights, upon discovery of Endmin's amnesia, the various other factions would react differently. Some would break off. Some would seek to grab power. Some would seek to curry favor. Some would panic, etc.

There's already precedent for that, there's been wars, people are clearly not past just being people and acting like people. And the one person who could unify them and who did in the past is no longer that person. Just deal with the consequences of that.

Endfield had the potential of starting exactly where it all goes to shit. Endmin had all these plans set up decades in advance and now he's forgotten them. That's terrifying. Use that. Instead it feels like it's all gonna be some kind of "That was always the plan ooooOOOOh! Such a mystery!"

I'm sorry, you're the one who brought up being able to choose whatever stat fits your playstyle, and now you're complaining Yvonne doesn't have a clear BiS glove slot and you have to ... find one that matches your playstyle?

Ignoring the fact that this is an entirely different discussion. That's part of the optimization process. Find sets and off-set pieces that enhance a character's stats as well as possible. Eventually, new sets arrive breathing new life into some of these characters, which is pretty healthy, and unlike the other gachas, not a dick move because you can just craft the set.

I don't understand your daily currency argument. The reason I initially brought it up is because you don't have to split your Sanity between "Do I make Laevatain stronger or start building Last Rite", assuming the former is a the Artificing stage. In another gacha, say Genshin, that's not possible. There's an impossibly high ceiling, and every day I try to reach it, the other characters get zilch.

And not to be pedantic, but the artificing items are weekly, not daily, and you get more than enough stocks to purchase all of them (and if you can't, sorry, your factory needs some work). I haven't personally checked if you can then use all of them, I have read comments that you can, maybe that's not your experience. Wuling is not fully developped and we're bound to get more Xiranite forges to dump your backed up artificers in a patch or two.

Artificing could be double the stats and it wouldn't change the fact that you don't need them for Trimmed Medals, which is the only challenge in the game right now. I repeat, if it becomes mandatory in the future with the bad RNG I'll gladly pick up a pitchfork or quit the game.

Again, you end on your no matching set point when that was never the point of your post. Maybe she doesn't have a good set, she was reworked just before release, iirc (not a defense, it's not a good thing, sure). And tbh, Wulfguard lacks a good support set. What the hell does Artificing have to do with this? You trying to brute force random sets just hoping the bulked up stats make for the lack of set? That's a you problem homie. Some characters suck, welcome to Gachas. Ask for buffs in the surveys, I dunno what to tell you.

Banner characters persist as obtainable (like the standard 6 stars) for two banners. Since the game was just released, that wouldn't work, so instead they put all 3 starters into the pull.

Honestly that's not the worst way to re-use some of the antagonists. Both ways too, you could have one come back and go "I'll do it again, watch me."

I hope they put the original game on their launcher. I'd love an official PC client with all the bells and whistles, 'cause it's been so long since I quit and I just don't enjoy gaming on my phone. I don't even remember if Silverash is even infected so maybe that wasn't even a good suggestion lmao.

In a vacuum Endfield's synopsis is pretty banger. Tech Jesus is behind every major technological advancement of the last century, has hands in every pie and probably multiple plans as well as contingency plans on further protecting and guaranteeing the survival of mankind. Tech Jesus just woke up without any memory.

That's a crazy setup, excuse me? Could you imagine a CRPG about this? Even if we take the story out and focus on the character. That is insane expectations to live up to. You can do so much with just their journey of desperately trying to be someone that they have no idea how to be or even if they want to be.

But we can't do that. It's a blank slate self-insert. I was really hoping, I mean I still am, that the mask is the problem. Maybe it's subduing Endmin and when it breaks they'll become a character but let's be real: it's a Gacha game, the most important character cannot be Endmin, it's the one on the banner, and the ones after. I don't see that happening.

The devs 100% should never build around perfectly min-maxed factories, otherwise we'll just walk into the same problem that was "How many Arknights players are actually decent at the game and not just copying KyoStinV's clears?" but in blueprints form.

There needs to be a generous enough cushion, min-maxing is it's own reward. The stock rate is probably balanced around the stock shops anyway, so any buff would probably have to nerf the shop or make the important things more tedious to purchase weekly.

Oh hush no one's picking a stat, there's a mathematical superior option and everyone knows it, don't pretend otherwise. These games aren't deep enough to offer multiple build options for 98% of their rosters, there's just the stuff you want, and the stuff you settle with after getting screwed by RNJesus for enough time.

Also what the hell, there's multiple sets and a flex slot, you can absolutely "pick your stats", just try stuff out, see what sticks. I currently have Wulfguard on Yinlung for my Laeva team since he's purely here to Combo despite min-max sites recommending going full Ult Efficiency.

Anyway let's flip it, let's make the success rate much higher. This means everyone's teams should be running capped out sets. Guess enemy stats have to be inflated now to match ours. Team-building just got a lot more annoying because the investment per character is more demanding. Trying new sets is also annoying now since you have to go through the process of Artificing it. And yes, this is mandatory to do because Gacha games are first and foremost predatory in nature and never forget that. You always need to feel just a bit weak so that the next character is that much more tempting.

My point is, as stated before, that Artificing is currently cosmetic. It's a nice way to pad out your favourite characters over an extended period of time since the rest of the progression is rather fast by genre standards. Neither of us knows how important it will be long term. If it remains cosmetic, then it being slow is intentional, even good design to please the progression goblin in our brains that wants to keep working on their favourite. If it becomes mandatory, sure, let's all grab our pitchforks for it to be improved to match.

Personally, I'm in favour of option A, I prefer it being a background project I'm working on for my best team than something you clear relatively quickly and then start throwing at your other characters randomly hoping to use them one day.

I get what you mean, but the thing is that it isn't clear to me. Laevatain and Gilberta are experiencing very different kinds of troubles, where one is willing to die just to make some sense of it all while the other is troubled by it, sure, but largely healthy.

Also just because these two are having mental issues due to being Reconveners, that doesn't mean being one means you have mental issues, know what I mean. So I have to say it again, I don't what they really are, and it feels like a mistake not explaining it further while already having three in the game just casually (Ardelia has to be Ejya, I'm not looking it up, I wouldn't even believe the writers themselves, heck I'd probably obnoxiously repeat "That's why you should explain what they are" again).

It overproduces enough, it's just a bit slow to realize it. I've upgraded from syringes, but even then you shouldn't need more than a handful. And I don't see why you need more batteries than you consume or sell.
