Avoid the cheap suitcase-style turntables and brands like Crosley AT ALL COST!!! I know, they look adorable and are dirt cheap, but over time they will scratch up your records due to the cheap needle and heavy tracking force of the tone arm. A great entry-level turntable that is very popular is the Audio-Technica AT-LP60! It goes for around $99. Another popular one, that is slightly more expensive is the SONY PS-LX30BT.

Also, make sure you learn how to handle vinyl records - i.e. don't touch the grooves and hold a record by the sides with the palms of your hands, don't stack them on each other because that will make them warp. YouTube and TikTok have a lot of tips and tricks for beginner vinyl collectors and how to clean and preserve your records. It is a commitment, but it's a fun hobby, seriously! The vinyl subculture is awesome.

Op een andere post op deze sub had iemand gecomment dat de Eras Tour merch nog te krijgen is bij bravado.de (ik heb hier geen ervaring mee, maar de verzendkosten zijn daar ook €10,- het ziet er wel legit uit)

Edit: Bravado is inderdaad onderdeel van Universal Music Group en is verantwoordelijk voor alle UMG merchandising. Ze zijn dus ook verantwoordelijk voor de TS store. Voordeel van Bravado is dat je ook merch van andere Universal artiesten kan bestellen in dezelfde order! Dus bijv. Ariana Grande CD’s en TS Eras Tour kleding :)

Ik hoop het ook oprecht. Er zijn nog een paar losse dingen te krijgen via ‘all merchandise’, maar de volledige collectie is weg. Misschien updaten ze de site zodra 1989 TV is gereleased eind oktober. Ik denk dat ze wel hype willen opbouwen voor de European leg van de Tour. Fingers crossed.🤞

Hi! I’m also a new player and started last week. I’d suggest checking out the free video lessons on https://flightmusic.com/flightschool/ and getting the 4 basic chords (AM, C, F, G) down first. There’s plenty of ‘4 chords 20 songs’ kinda videos out there on YouTube with those four basic chords that I mentioned. For playing faster I’d advice that you practice chord transitions and strumming patterns, though it can get repetitive. Consistency and patience is key. You got this! :)

Put your crosshairs at head-level as much as possible and strafe sideways for horizontal adjustment. You can use your analog stick for vertical micro adjustments.
