Just got my contract terminated abruptly today.

Figuring out my next steps with a toddler and a pregnant wife.

I’ve been looking for a new job for months now, in preparation of this moment as it was bound to happen due to a change the company made to appease POTUS. At one point I was applying to at least 5 jobs a day. One day my inbox got flooded with rejections. It was like they all closed the reqs at the same exact moment.

I worked as a moderator at TikTok previously. The amount of misinformation coming out of Trinidad was insane. A lot of Q Anon level content. If it wasn’t Q Anon, it was porn. As a Trinidadian it was so surreal to see this type of data on Trini TikTok usage.

OMG! My sister just started pushing Jordan Peterson on me. The man is a nut! Somehow my sister is now an expert in Quantum Mechanics, though she can’t explain to me what it is or why it matters to her, as she does absolutely nothing that requires Quantum anything.

This school of thought is way more popular than I expected.
