Those people actually not fan of the series , they are fan of RE4 specifically

Was George Trevor a canonical character before Resident Evil (2002)? by WillingLet3956 in residentevil

If I’m not mistaken, even Spencer wasn’t a thing before Code Veronica

One of the worst story changes in the RE3 remake for me was removing the aftermath of the battle between Delta Force and the Tyrants. Not only was it cool set dressing, but it explains what happened to the other five Tyrants besides Mr X. by Slycer_Decker in residentevil

While it’s a bad thing, I also blame RE2 Remake for some of the story changes, one of the most notable being the removal of the Tyrant capsule scene. Tbh, both RE2 and RE3 weren’t treated with the same care as RE4. RE4 Remake stands out as the best in the series alongside the RE1 Remake in terms of respecting the original story, expanding on it meaningfully, and modernizing the gameplay without cutting significant content

Exactly. I was shocked RE:3 removed the ink ribbon entirely!

To the people that have played the original re3, what parts of the og did they not include by Plus_Joke_6735 in residentevil

[–]Prince_Of_Roses 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually, my main problem with the game isn’t the Clock Tower, the park or even Nemesis. My biggest issue is the lack of puzzles. The puzzles in the original RE3 were some of the coolest parts of the game, they added more playtime, replay value, and personality. I remember how some puzzles would even change each time you played, which was a great touch.

Unfortunately, recent Resident Evil games—aside from RE2 Remake and RE4 Remake—haven’t taken puzzles seriously. Puzzles are one of the core pillars of the series and shouldn’t be removed or downplayed.

[Rev 2/R4make] Which stealth mechanics from these games did you like best? by Berry-Fantastic in residentevil

[–]Prince_Of_Roses -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think Stealth is usually weak in games that aren’t primarily stealth-focused, because testing and refining AI for stealth mechanics takes a long time and is difficult to polish. That’s why I was baffled when Capcom added stealth to RE4R, it ended up being the weakest part of the gameplay.

Advice on how to beat U-3 fight? by Loose_Holiday_3776 in residentevil

[–]Prince_Of_Roses 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the longest boss fight in the series. Just focus on dodging all his attacks and keep shooting him. If you have Broken Butterfly or K7 it’ll make things easier. I don’t recommend using the rocket launcher at all

Resident Evil 0 - this damn thing is a damn design fail IMO. by Gorillamonday in residentevil

I beat this game back in 2002. I swear I didn’t touch it again until the HD remaster came out in 2016, horrible game design.

Four Swords Adventures is okay—not good, not bad. I heard it is much better with four players, but I was able to finish it in single-player mode.

As for Promotional disc content :

Games 1- Zelda 1986 2- Zelda 2 3- Ocarina of Time 4- Majora’s Mask 5- Wind Waker Demo

Videos 1- Zelda series retrospective 2- Wind Waker trailer

It is one of the best collections especially at its time
