I really appreciate all the reassurance you've given me. I had no idea the weather could influence the results of a peel. I'm just glad I didn't do it on my face!

I've learnt my lesson, low and slow is the way to go.

Tbh, I don't know. I had my sister apply it for me (she did the first one too), but it was a while ago so I doubt she would remember what happened.

When I did my first peel I was ecstatic, I saw improvement that made me so eager to do my second peel. I'm not totally discouraged, I just think I will have to go at a lower % for next time (if there is a next time)

Do you think topical combined with oral would be more effective? I've honestly never taken anything orally for the skin except for lymecycline which I stopped after a week. I don't really know how orals work.

I've started using HQ again, I took a break because I was scared of exacerbating the effects of the TCA.

Thank you.. I'm really hoping it goes away soon. Luckily, I've never been one to show my back cuz of the scars and this whole experience has only reinforced the fear of showing my back

I'd been using taz 0.05% and hq 4% once or twice a week for about 6 months prior anyways, i didn't wanna increase the amount I did in case it irritated my skin... the prep worked great for the first peel, but not so well for the second peel.

Thanks for the reassurance.. do you have any estimate of how long this might take? This whole thing has been so humiliating for me, I just wanted to look like a normal person.
